The Institute of Company Secretaries of India conducts CSEET exam for registration to the CS Executive programme. With this exam, candidates can take a step towards becoming a Company Secretary (CS). ICSI prescribes syllabus for CSEET on its official website. It includes 4 subjects: ICSI CSEET Economic & Business Environment, Business Communication, Fundamentals of Accounting, and Business Law & Management.

No, the Institute of Company Secretaries of India has not yet released the exam dates for CSEET October 2026 exam. The expected dates for Oct session is the first week of October 2026.

The ideal time to start practicing from CSEET mock tests is when you have covered 60-70% of the syllabus. It will give you an idea of where your preparation level stands and how much practice you need till exma date.

It is bad if you fail your CSEET mock test, as ICSI releases these tests only a week before the actual exam date and now you don't have enough time to work more on your preparation.

But, you should not loose hope as it may be due to the nervousness of the exam. Focus on important topics and keep calm

No, it is not mandatory to pass in CSEET mock tests. These tests are provided for candidates to get a clear picture of their preparation level and make them understand the types of questions in exam.

Once ICSI releases CSEET mock test, you can appear for the same by following steps below:

  • Click on link sent to the registered email ID
  • Login by entering Login ID and Password
  • CSEET mock test will appear on the screen
  • Appear for the mock test
  • Check the correct and incorrect answers.

Yes, the Institute of Company Secretaries of India has made certain changes in the exam structure of CSEET exam from June 2026 onwards. One of the biggest change is that the exam will now be conducted in offline mode.
