Minister of Education, Dharmendra Pradhan has released the list of National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) Rankings 2022 for architecture courses. IIT Roorkee has been ranked as the best institution among the top architecture college in India in the NIRF 2022 Ranking. An annual excercise, the rankings have been released for as many 11 categories including top universities, top colleges, top engineering colleges, top management colleges, top pharmacy colleges, top medical colleges, top architecture colleges and top law colleges.
Parameters of NIRF Ranking for Architecture
The rankings are primarily based on 5 parameters:
- Teaching and Learning Resources(TLR)
- Graduation Outcome(GO)
- Perception(PR)
- Outreach and Inclusivity(OI)
- Research and Professional Practice(RP)
Since 2018, participation has been made compulsory for institutes receiving public grants from the government.
