Q: What is the difference between the teaching methodology in your institute and others?

A: Brainware University differs from other institutions in its perspective. We believe in the 'campus-to-corporate' connection. Teachers here not only make sure that the students learn but also ensure that they know how to apply their knowledge.

Q: How are you preparing your students to be industry-ready?

A: The curriculum is designed basis industrial requirements. Students also gain industrial knowledge through webinars and seminars. They are exposed to different live projects in the course of their study, which improve their working skills, and critical thinking skills. They also develop professional expertise, networking abilities and interpersonal skills upon completion of their course. Boot camp is organised for all students of Biotechnology by the placement department to prepare them for employment opportunities.

Q: Do you think the curriculum of the courses taught in your institute fits in the requirement of the industry?

A: The course aims to provide fundamental insights to explore floriculture, medicinal plants tissue culture, enzymes and microbes for the manufacture of products that have a huge industrial significance. It uniquely blends the science and industry with various biochemical processes to obtain products of diverse fields, such as chemicals, food, bio-energy among others. It includes the study of different aspects of molecular biology and genetic engineering and enzyme technology so that students can be directly absorbed in the Biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries.

The course introduces bio-reactors. Strategies to obtain higher yields, design of the reactors and production of biofuels from microbes are thoroughly explained.
