Government College of Engineering and Ceramic Technology, Kolkata Cutoff 2024: Check Category-Wise WBJEE Cutoff Ranks

The Government College of Engineering and Ceramic Technology, Kolkata, accepts WBJEE scores to offer diverse BTech programs at the undergraduate level. Based on round-wise seat allotments, the WBJEE cutoff has been released till three rounds. The GCECT WBJEE cutoff 2024 was released as opening and closing ranks for categories, including General, OBC, ST, SC, EWS and PWD for the candidates belonging to the Home State quota. During the GCECT BTech cutoff 2024, the Last Round closing rank ranged between 3165 and 8139 for the General Home State category candidates. GCECT Kolkata Cutoff 2024 for General Home State Category

As per the GCECT Kolkata cutoff 2024, the last-round closing ranks for Computer Science and Engineering stood at 3011 and 3165, respectively, for the General Home State category candidates. Due to low ranks, CSE emerged as the toughest course to get into the GCECT. Further, the program with lenient ranks was Ceramic Technology, with a first and last round closing ranks of 8777 and 8139 in 2024. GCECT Kolkata Cutoff 2024 for OBC Home State Category

The most favourable course for OBC Home State category candidates was BTech in Computer Science Engineering. Similarly, the second-most desirable course after CSE was B.Tech. in Information Technology. GCECT Kolkata Cutoff 2024 for SC Home State Category

 In 2024, the GCECT released the first and last round closing ranks for CSE, IT, and Ceramic Technology. Among them, the CSE has the lowest ranks, making it the most in-demand course among the candidates. Contrary to that, Ceramic Technology was the least demanded course with the highest cutoff ranks. During the GCECT WBJEE cutoff 2024, the first round closing ranks ranged between 31375 and 68653. And, the last-round closing ranks stood between 58804 and 68653 for the ST Home State category candidates. While observing the cutoffs given below, it can be seen that CSE has having edge over the competition due to its low closing ranks. And, Ceramic Technology has similar ranks for the first and last rounds.

WBJEE 2025 will take place on April 27 2025 according to its scheduled date. The results for WBJEE 2025 examination will be revealed during June 2025. The WBJEEB official website provides results access through a combination of application number and password for candidates.
