Login Portal in Delhi University

As more and more of our life is transacted online, expectations grow about what more facilities in terms of services are offered by a university or a college and the way in which they are delivered. Whether you are a current student or a new student, a portal is bedrock technology for publishing the applications, content, and services needed to be successful.

Portals have been continually evolving and changing in the past few years. New portal strategies based singularly on web content management software provide better “brand forward” online experiences, a more web-friendly and more agile integration approach with legacy apps, back office, and support for more engaging web experiences and content.

There are a few login portals on the DU website for the purposes of faculty, student & admin login, wi-fi login portal, and placement portal.

Student Login Portal

One of the biggest obstacles that this student portal removes is the number of information silos found across the college. This encompasses all the systems that can store college-related information:

• Student Information Systems, ERPs, CRMs
• Learning Management System
• Facilities
• Courses, Departments, Professors' profiles
• Notifications for college holidays, class shift changes, etc.
• Bookstore & library e-commerce systems

It's next to impossible to keep regular track of everything individually. A modern Portal for Students provides secure, centralized access to faculty and student information by connecting to these systems and pulling key information into the portal.

What does this portal do? It ranges from a personalized dashboard that is unique to each student, pushing relevant information about the courses they are enrolled in, a class schedule, financial payments due notifications due, and other student-specific content. This portal also provides direct access to systems such as the financial systems and LMS making it easier for students to make tuition payments or submit assignments.

Placement Portal: Delhi University

Training & Placement Cell, DU aims at building a strong interface between industry and the University for the training and placement of students. To make recruitment sessions smoother for students, the Training & Placement Cell has a web portal for handling the placement registration for companies visiting our campus.

The placement portal is for the benefit of employers and students. This cell has the responsibility to disseminate information about various employment opportunities in the Job sector for college students. Through the Placement Cell, college students will be methodically guided and motivated for their career growth.

Students can use this portal for maintaining communication with the placement office and to participate in on-campus/off-campus recruitment drives. Besides this, this portal has a knowledge center that includes a career guidance section, and resume and interview preparation sections for the benefit of students. New articles on various relevant areas will be posted on a regular basis. In addition to this, students can get access to faculty members of the college through this portal for educational and vocational guidance.

Delhi University WiFi/VPN Portal

The wireless network at Delhi University covers every dorm and academic building (WiFi). Faculty and students can access WiFi by logging in using their Campus Domain Controller credentials. Additionally, the department has put up WiFi hotspots in Academic Block 3 so that users can use the network while in class.

Faculty, researchers, and students have VPN access so they can use remote locations to access campus network services. Through VPN Access, you will have access to the university network from any remote place.

Before you can connect to the VPN, you must have your Campus Management System (CMS) password. Please follow these instructions to set the password (Students: Only if you have a working email address with a Roll number can you reset your password through CMS.

The Campus Domain Controller will now register the CMS password. You can access the Domain Controller, CMS, VPN, and campus WiFi with this Username and Password (in-campus).
