The field of pharmacy has a long term growth potential. In the aftermonth of Covid -19 the demand for health-care services is steadily increasing, allowing the area of pharmacy to progress even amidst of crisis. As a result, the field of pharmacy has a long-term future. Pharmacy is a well-rounded profession that incorporates science, health care, direct patient contact, computer technology, and business management. From the first step of a drug synthesis to formulation development, its fundamental purpose is improving patient care through medicine and medicine-related information. Pharmacists are specialists in medication, educators, counsellors, and friends all rolled into one. They should not only be qualified in their field of expertise, but also have excellent communication abilities. The pharmacy market in India is the third-largest in respect of quantity. In India, diploma in pharmacy is the minimal required for becoming a registered pharmacist (D.Pharma).

The Diploma in Pharmacy is an entrance diploma programme with a technical focus. Pay Package for D.Pharm Graduate (Diploma degree in Pharmacy)

The compensation package is determined by the candidate's skills and experience. Hospitals like AIIMS, MAX, APOLLO, and many more give opportunities.The approximate beginning pay for a D.pharm graduate is between INR 1.75 and 8 lakhs. Even if you start off on a small income, with time and dedication, you will be able to manage your spending without difficulty.

If pharmaceutical studies are your  passion, you can pursue a bachelor's degree in pharmacy(B.Pharm) ,you may apply for the second year of B.Pharma i.e lateral entry . After that, you can pursue postgraduate degrees.
