Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam is located in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. Due to its green surroundings, the campus of the university is really impressive. There is a huge variety of plants and trees at this university. It makes the atmosphere peaceful on the university campus. Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam is located in Tirupati City, students, staff, and visitors can easily commute to and from the university. SPMVV is situated near the bus station and railway station of Tirupati within a distance of around 4 kms. As most people know, Tirupati is known as a pilgrim city because of the Lord Venkateswara temple. It is one of the most famous places in Andhra Pradesh, India.

The main aim of this university is to provide the best professional and quality education to women. The University receives funds from the UGC, State Government and TTD for the development purpose.

Campus

Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam campus size is around 138 acres (56 hectares) and is situated in a semi-urban area. The university can admit more than 3000 students every year. 

There are two main gates to enter the University. The first one is the college gate; all the students, staff members (teaching & non-teaching) etc., use the college gate. And the second one is the hostel gate; only hostel students, hostel staff, sweepers and watchmen are allowed through this gate.

• The offices of the Vice-Chancellor, Registrar, Controller of Examinations and other administrative buildings are placed inside the administrative building. This admin building is situated at the entrance of the university campus. 
• And, all other offices including the Deans of the University are placed in their individual buildings. 
• The warden’s office is located in the hostel.
• To conduct special seminars, meetings, any other events etc., the campus has a Saveri guest house with a seating capacity of 70+ persons.

The buildings and blocks of SPMVV are:

- Bank facility enables students to pay college fees, hostel fees, exam fees etc. inside the campus itself. The union bank is situated beside the college gate. Two ATMs are present just outside the college gate. Another ATM is present near the hostel and inside the campus.

- Hostel facility is available inside the campus itself. The distance from hostel rooms to the college is less than 500 metres. There are multiple blocks provided as hostels. All these blocks have major services like WiFi, power supply, water, CCTV cameras, street lights, newspapers/ magazines and common dining halls etc. Along with these Martin's, wardens and security guards are always available 24*7 inside & outside the campus.

- In the year 1983, the SPMVV library was opened. SPMVV has different types of libraries like departmental libraries in all the departments and one main library called as the university library. Departmental libraries have only required books related to their departments. But the University library has numerous books like e-books, book banks, novels, magazines, journals, e-journals, back volumes, print journals, thesis, e-thesis, CD-Roms, audiobooks etc. The Digital library is available through remote access service to the students since 2021.

- Cafeteria: The cafeteria has all the necessary facilities providing a variety of foods and delicious dishes. Snacks like cool drinks, fast foods, packed foods etc., are also available.

- Grocery Store: On the premises of SPMVV hostels, a general store is available for the convenience of the students. 

- Auditorium: SPMVV auditorium is one of the best places for most of the students. Here, students perform cultural activities like dances, singing etc., and technical events like workshops, seminars presentations and meetings etc., are also conducted. 

- Health Care Centre: University has a dedicated health care centre inside the campus near the hostel. The health centre is open for the students on all days with availability of an ambulance and a doctor throughout.
