Tuyirajize Recalls Journey from Rwanda to Shoolini
Shoolini University brings back happy memories of Tuyirajize Léamdre’s hometown of Kigali, one of the cleanest cities in Rwanda, Africa. He is now pursuing BTech Biotechnology at Shoolini, renowned for its picturesque campus and sustainable environment. Tuyirajize says he is fortunate to spend his student life in such a remarkable learning environment.
Tuyirajize loves the diverse student culture and hostel at the university. He believes the university has offered him an excellent opportunity to learn and grow. He is confident the knowledge and skills he gains will help him achieve his life goals.
While he appeared for an international admissions exam to study in India, Tuyirajize first came across this high-ranking sustainable university. On exploring the university website, he was thrilled that Shoolini University ranked No.1 Private University in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2023.
In the MBA category, Business Today 2023 ranks Shoolini University 88th; in the pharmacy category, the NIRF 2023 ranks the university 41st; and in the engineering category, the NIRF 2023 ranks the university 101–150. The university maintains partnerships with over 250 colleges, organisations, and universities throughout the world. The university is placed 39 in the QS Asian University Rankings—Southern Asia category 2024, 579 in the QS Sustainability Ranking 2024, and 771–780 in the QS World University Rankings 2024. The UGC has approved Shoolini University. It was founded in 2009. In addition to being ISO-certified, the university offers some courses that are NBA accredited. The NAAC has awarded the university accreditation with a B+ grade.

He could not believe his luck when the multidisciplinary university accepted his application for admission to the course of his choice. He feels confident that the skill-based learning and professionally driven curriculum will boost his career prospects.

Tuyirajize has a special fondness for the top floor of Yogananda Library. He spends hours at this 24X7 library, with EBSCO access to more than a million publications… and his favourite book? 'Man Enough' by Simon Baevy. Another of his favourite spots at Shoolini is the gym, which he frequently visits to keep fit and healthy.
Shoolini University can be a good option for BTech as it provides scholarships which can waive off tuition fee. The total tuition fee of the BTech programme at Shoolini University ranges between INR 5.1 Lacs - INR 9.4 lakh. The median package secured after the completion of the course was INR 4.28 LPA. Considering the total tuition fee and the package secured this seems to be a good return on the investment. The fee is sourced from unofficial sources and hence, is indicative.
Yes, Shoolini is a great place to study BTech. It is known as one of the best BTech Artificial Intelligence Colleges present in India. The university is known to emphasise AI Research programmes. The students will be able to learn and explore various fields such as robotics, machine learning, and neural networks. The BTech is taught by an acclaimed faculty. To offer various facilities to BTech students, the university has collaborated with Lanzhou University, China; University of Naples, Italy; Taipei Medical University, Taiwan, and others.
Shoolini University BTech programme is a four-year course offered in 17 specialisations, namely CSE UI/ UX, Nanotechnology, CSE Cybersecurity, Civil Engineering, etc. Besides, Shoolini University also offers lateral entry to BTech course. BTech (LE) is available in seven specialisations, namely Civil Engineering, Food Technology, CSE Data Science, etc. Candidates after completing Class 12 in relevant specialisation can apply for the BTech course.
Yes, BPharm is a four-year course available at the UG level. The School of Pharmacy is approved by the AICTE and part of the Pharmacy Council of India colleges. The university also offers lateral entry to the BPharm course. BPharm course at Shoolini University is accredited by National Board of Accreditation.
The total tuition fee for the MBA programme at Shoolini University is INR 5.95 lakh. The package secured after the completion of the two-year MBA programme at Shoolni University was INR 6.80 LPA. Considering the total cost of tuition and the package secured this seems to be a good return on the investment. To be eligible for the MBA programme at Shoolini University the candidates need to secure a minimum of 50% in their graduation.
Though away from home, Tuyirajize does not miss his family and friends in Rwanda. He is thankful for the comfort and hospitality that Shoolini University has provided, making him feel at home. Born with a wanderlust, he has travelled and explored Delhi, Chandigarh, and Solan during his short time in India. He is looking forward to discovering more about the country in the future. He is excited to learn more about the culture and traditions of India and to make more memories here.
Tuyirajize has observed some striking similarities between the cultures of Africa and India. He has noticed that the clothing and dances of the two regions share a strong resemblance. The two areas have been influenced by each other in some way, which is an interesting phenomenon that deserves further exploration. “I am very interested to know more about the similarities between the two cultures and will pursue this,” he added.
