MEC Kochi BTech course admission is entrance-based. The admission process involves application form filling, shortlisting of students based on KEAM score, and seat allotment. Yes, 250 is a great score. Candidates securing 250 in CUSAT CAT can get into any of the BTech specialisation. As per the previous year CUSAT CAT cutoffs, aspirants with a rank below 300 have a great chance of getting into some of the top BTech specialisations like Computer Science and Engineering, Naval Architecture and Ship Building, Electronics and Communication Engineering, etc.

NIT Calicut admissions are entirely entrance-based for all its UG & PG courses. Amrita School of Engineering B.Tech offers 15 specialisations in different disciplines. The highest number of seats are allocated to BTech in Computer Science and Engineering by ASE Amritapuri. The institute does not provide the lowest number of seats to any specialisation, because Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Engineering in Mechanical Engineering and the other two specialisations have the same number of seats i.e., 60. 

The seat intake for students in the different programmes of B.Tech at Saintgits College of Engineerng varies every year on a number of factors like applications, infrastructure etc. However the average seat intake for B.Tech at the college is 720 with each branch having around 80 students capacity. The seat intake for B.Tech in CSE is the highest with the total seat intake of the B.Tech CSE Program at Saintgits College of Engineering being 120. However this data changes every year according to the applications recieved.
