Good Professors, small campus, but chill college.
Placements: 80% to 90% of students got placed. The highest package is 51 LPA, and the lowest is 4.5 LPA. Companies like Apple and Nvidia came to our college. 40%-50% of students got internships. Many students go abroad for higher studies. Major roles are analyst and software developer.
Infrastructure: Every basic facility is available, like any other college. Hostels are less in numbers, so many students live in PG. Sports and games facilities are decent. Most of the hostels are far from the college like 4-7 km. They do provide a bus facility. Mess food is good.
Faculty: Teachers are nice and approachable. Most of them are from good colleges. The curriculum is a little bit outdated, but they are constantly working to make it relevant for us. Exams indeed get difficult after the first year. The first year is pretty chill. After the first year, they take the chill out of you.
Other: I chose this course only because I had a poor rank in JEE. There are two major events, the first one is Utsav, which is a cultural fest, and the second one is Phaseshift, which is a tech fest.

This is a very good college in Bangalore where anyone can join.
Placements: The percentage of students placed in my course computer science and engineering is around 94% of them has been placed. The highest package in my course is 56 LPA, the lowest package in my course is 11 LPA, and the average package is around 12 LPA. Top recruiting companies in my course are Intel, Amazon, Flipkart, Google, Microsoft, and many other companies. Around 70% of the students got internships from my course.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available for my course include well-equipped lab. The classrooms will be digital, and there will be projectors also in classrooms. There is also Wi-Fi in the library for computers. There will be well-equipped library with books. The quality of facilities of hostel is very good, and the food will be same as in other colleges. There is a ground facility near the hostel to play games.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality of BMS College of Engineering is very good. They are highly qualified in many institutions. This course curriculum is relevant, and it also makes students industry-ready. The difficulty of semester will be moderate. The pass percentage is around 91%.
Other: This course has been in trend in this college. Students need to improve their coding skills to better understand the course. There will be many events, fests, and clubs available in college.

Placements: Around 90-95% of students are placed in my college. The highest package was around 40-50 LPA, and the average is around 8-12 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Nokia, TCS, and other companies. 50% of students got internships. I am not sure about the top roles order.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good with greenery throughout the campus, and it’s very nice to be around here. There’s a building outside the campus for freshers, but the best block is PJA Block, which stands for Platinum Jubilee Block. This is where CSE and ECE classes take place. The classrooms are very nice and modern.
Faculty: Faculty depends on teacher to teacher, but most of them are helpful, although some of them might not be that good. The syllabus is very updated. I don’t know much about all this because I am still a fresher. Hopefully, I encounter better faculty in the future.
Other: I liked coding, that’s why I chose this course, and I hope they invest more in the artists they bring during fests, because it doesn’t feel very big with small artists.

It's my honest opinion on BMSCE.
Placements: In Computer Science engineering, around 85% of students were placed in the year 2024-25. Highest salary package offered was for around 40 LPA given by a cybersecurity company. Average salary package was around 10 to 12 LPA. Least salary package was for 4 LPA. Almost 40% of students secured internships with companies like Cisco, Deloitte, Dell, etc. Top roles are software development engineer, data analyst, product engineer/developer.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of CSE department is very good in this college. and facilities like lab are well-equipped with required devices, classrooms are cleaned regularly and are spacious enough not to make u feel cramped, libraries are filled with books and very spacious to sit. Food quality in hostel is just acceptable, it isn't that good, and facilities depend on your hostel branch. Facilities are usually good, but some rooms get cramped with 4 people, and some branches are 2 to 10 km away from campus.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified here at BMSCE, and a lot of them are helpful. When you ask for stuff, they provide notes before exam, but classes might feel boring. Course curriculum is relevant to our subject, but I don't think it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are kind of hard, if u try to study everything, but manageable if u do PYQs and a good enough percentage of students pass in semester, though they never mentioned exact percentage.

Review of BMS College of Engineering.
Placements: Around 85% of students get placed in the CSE course. The highest package is 33.1 LPA and the lowest is 3 LPA, according to our seniors. The median package is usually 8.5 LPA. My seniors have told me that the top recruiting companies are usually Amazon, Microsoft, Google, IBM, and others. About 35-44% of students offer internships in the same companies. However, I think there may be issues in the future due to the rise in the intake of CSE students from the 2024-28 batch. The top roles are usually data analyst, software development engineer, and product engineer.
Infrastructure: Facilities provided in the libraries and laboratories are very good and well-equipped. The CSE department, being a core department, has a well-developed infrastructure at BMSCE. There is Wi-Fi, but I don’t know any student who has been able to connect to it. Classrooms are clean and nice. Hostel facilities depend on when you join. People who join late usually get hostels 2-10 km away from college, and as I have heard, it is hectic and cramped. However, people who join early have on-campus hostels with a hill environment. Sports and games can be played on the ground.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable, but it usually depends on the teacher you get. Some of them are strict about things, while others do not care even if you fail. The teaching quality is great. The curriculum is updated and very relevant, but you can't say it fully makes students industry-ready. Every internal exam except the semester-end examination is hard. Around 70% of students pass.
