Dissatisfied with the infrastructure.

Placements: Top recruiting companies in our college are TCS and Infosys. The average and median packages are also decent with 10 LPA and the highest package is about 40LPA. The placement rate is about 80 percent and 504 students out of 775 registered students got placed in campus selection.

Infrastructure: It has been like 3 months since I got admission in NIT Srinagar and it has really been a very wonderful time. The campus is really beautiful with a lot of greenery and trees. The classrooms are also comfortable along with good professors and nice wardens. The overall environment of the campus along with students is also very refreshing.

Faculty: The faculty is very good with high knowledge and good teaching skills and they are also very friendly to ask doubts and to gain knowledge. The course curriculum is also relevant and they make students industry ready with good coding skills by conducting coding clubs and hackathons.

Our college, National Institute of Technology, is a very beautiful place of 75 acres.

Placements: 121.12% is the percentage of placements, which means the placement requirements are more than the students in our college. The highest package is 36.5 LPA. The average package is 13.8 LPA. The lowest package is 12 LPA. Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Samsung, Deloitte, etc., recruit. Up to 98.7% of students get internships here from companies like Google, Microsoft, Deloitte, etc. Top roles are software engineer, developer, full-stack developer, Data scientist, etc.

Infrastructure: Facilities in our department or college include the Ethernet connection for each and every hostel room, and labs and classrooms will be neat and clean with the heaters. Quality in food is not bad, we can say, and in the canteen, it is okay. We have a playground for playing cricket, and we have a badminton court and many more courts for sports and games.

Faculty: Lecturers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They teach very well and clear doubts very well. It makes the students industry-ready. The semester exams are as difficult as the explanation of the lecturers. The lecturers prepare the exam keeping the syllabus in mind.

Other: I am interested in doing software jobs and coding as well, so I have chosen CSE. I wish to start the core subjects from the first semester.

Placements: Our college offers excellent placement opportunities with top companies visiting every year. The training and guidance provided by the placement cell help students develop the right skills and confidence to secure great jobs. Students get knowledge through hackathons and workshops.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is modern and well-maintained. It is not so good, there is no Wi-Fi, advanced labs, smart classrooms, and all necessary facilities for our course. The hostels are clean, comfortable, and equipped with Wi-Fi. It ensures a good study and living environment. The classrooms are spacious and equipped with the latest technology. Hostel life is enjoyable with good food, security, and a positive atmosphere.

Faculty: Faculty members are knowledgeable and supportive. They always ready to help students. The curriculum is well-structured and industry-relevant. Exams are fair and focus on understanding concepts rather than rote learning. It ensures a real knowledge growth.

Life of students at NIT Srinagar.

Placements: Nearly 84 percent of students got placed with an average of 13 LPA, and the highest is 36 LPA. Oracle, Nvidia, and Google are top recruiters. Most of the 90 percent of students get internships. Most of the students who get placed here are more, and a few students are placed off campus, so no worries.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good, but not very much. The Wi-Fi is sometimes available, and the library has good books and a relatively smaller area and seating too. The food is not too good, but those who wanna become clean can come here. Most of the food served is north indian thali, and south indians must bring their own pickles and powders to survive. All medical facilities are above average, and the canteen is a better option for spending more money and time with friends. Sports and games are okay, and there is a gym for both boys and girls.

Faculty: Not only here, every college student has to learn on their own to improve their skills, and most of the teaching is done in Hindi. 75 percent attendance is a must to appear for exams, and the level of examination depends on the paper setter, and it depends on the students, too, to study and to get good grades. The password percentage is 95 percent maximum, as far as I know.

Other: Computer Science engineering is a good course and has more demand too, and therefore I chose this, and many students here earn money through freelancing and all.

A college worth choosing if we overlook the mess food.

Placements: In our batch, about 70% of students get placed. The highest package is 18 LPA and the lowest package is 6 LPA respectively. Oracle company recruits students. College offered internships are limited. Full stack developer, UI/UX, and data science are the top roles offered here.

Infrastructure: Library capacity for students is very low. Wi-Fi has less speed. Classrooms are good, and labs are well-developed. Hostel food is not that tasty sometimes. The canteen food is good and hygienic. We have a dedicated medical center working hard for students day and night. Sports and games are on a scale of 4 out of 10.

Faculty: Teachers here are highly qualified and dedicated to their work. They deliver quality teaching. Our college provides us with courses that make us fit for the industry. Papers are set according to what teachers have taught in class. The difficulty level of exams is moderate with a pass percentage of about 98% and even more sometimes.

Other: I chose computer science because I have been interested in this sector from an early age. I have been coding from 8th class so this branch gives me what I am passionate about. If I have to improve something in my course then it would be eliminating those subjects from the course which aren't useful in our industry. Our college provides us with frequent events fests, scholarships, and many helpful activities. These events and fests enable students to show their hidden talent and teach us team management, problem-solving, etc. So our college is full of growth opportunities.

It has one of the most beautiful campuses.

Placements: Students who got a rank between 30,000-60,000 and above 95% in academics got placed in my course. The highest salary package offered is 9 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges from 6-7 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Oracle, etc., visit the college for placements. In computer science and engineering, coding courses are provided.

Infrastructure: Facilities in my college are average. The infrastructure of NIT is very beautiful and it is one of the most beautiful campuses in all NITs, IITs, and IIITs. Wi-Fi is circulated everywhere on the whole campus with different names. The quality of food is average.

Faculty: Teachers at NIT Srinagar are helpful, qualified, and very talented. They cover courses as well as describe scientific activities happening around us. Courses of college are provided to every student via WhatsApp groups and also from created websites.

NIT Srinagar is good college. Faculty members are well educated and placements are also decent.

Placements: 80% of students at the National Institute of Technology Srinagar got placed, the highest package is 36.5 LPA, and the average package is 1.4 LPA. NTPC, Alstom, and HDFC are the top recruiting companies at the National Institute of Technology Srinagar and every student got an internship.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the National Institute of Technology Srinagar is very good, and the environment is very friendly. The hostel and mess fee is very reasonable. There is a daily cleaning system, and there is also a proper canteen. You can easily get cash because there are SBI and J&K Bank ATMs.

Faculty: The teachers at the National Institute of Technology Srinagar are very well educated and the course curriculum is relevant and It makes the students industry-ready. The pass percentage is 45% out of 100%, If you study properly and attend classes, then the semester exam is moderate.

Other: I chose B.Tech CSE because I have an interest in this course. The best thing about my course is that I can apply it in many fields, especially in the technical field. More coding competitions can improve this course. There are many events and fests, for example, Range Chinar.

Placements: I am in the Computer Science and Engineering branch, which is the best branch at NIT Srinagar. Most students get placed every year in this branch, this year, the highest package is 39 LPA, grabbed by 2 students, and nearly 70% of students have been placed. Every year, nearly 90-110% placement occurs in this branch. There are many opportunities for internships provided by companies like Amazon, Wipro, Vedanta, Autodesk, BHEL, and others, and they also offer pre-placement offers to some students.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good. The library, classrooms, and everything else are among the best in this college; it is one of the most beautiful colleges in India. The internet connectivity is excellent, with both LAN and open-air Wi-Fi available, and the same facilities are provided in the hostel. The mess food quality is good, especially for non-veg students, and there is also good food available for vegetarian students, with a variety of dishes in both the veg and non-veg categories.

Faculty: Teaching staff in each branch are highly educated, qualified, and experienced, most of them belong to the top 2% of scientists in the world. It depends upon which branch you want to get in. If you want to get into CSE or IT here, then you need to score minimum 170 or more marks in JEE Mains. As an ST student I think you got a good percentage or score in JEE Mains and you can get any good NIT easily through it plus you say you are looking for it through home state quota, so your chance of getting there is pretty good or you can try college predictor on the basis of your JEE Score to get

No, you won't get seat in your desired college with 125 score. Because it doesn't meet the cut-off score to get admission in that college and more competition for seats.
