CBSE 12th Topper 2025 Kabir Bhati, a Science student of PM SHRI JAWAHAR NAVODAYA VIDYALAYA, YAVATMAL, emerged as a school topper with 94% marks. With an amazing 470 score out of 500, Bhati aims to pursue a career in neurosurgery. Kabir has scored 93 marks in English, 95 marks in Hindi Core, 93 marks in Physics, 97 marks in Chemistry, 92 Marks in Biology, and 96 marks in Yoga. In an exclusive interview with Shiksha.com, Kabir shared her CBSE 12th exam preparation routine, career plans, tips for aspirants and more.

Q: Please tell us something about your family background.
A: I come from a family that has always emphasized the importance of education In my family , my grandfather and my father are doctors (BHMS) and my mother is government teacher.
Q: Please tell me about your stream, did you choose this stream by choice?
A: I chose the Science stream with a focus on Biology, Physics, and Chemistry because my ultimate goal is to pursue a career in medicine, specifically neurosurgery.

Students who complete Class 12 Humanities stream have a number of UG courses to join. Q: What was your strategy to score above 90%?
A: My strategy is to be consistent throughout the year. For PCB my strategy is to complete my syllabus as early as possible, so that I can get time for revision and PYQ practice and I mainly focus on concept learning and understanding so that I can apply my concept easily to solve questions
Q: Did you take any online or offline coaching?
A: I have taken online coaching from Science and fun education by Ashu sir and I also have attend YouTube lectures of Physics wallah , Sourabh Raina . Personally I prefer online coaching more than offline coaching
Q: Who encouraged you the most in this journey?
A: My parents and teachers were my biggest supporters. They always believed in my potential and pushed me to stay focused, even during stressful times. Their encouragement made a huge difference. Also, my dream of becoming a doctor also encourages me to study.

Q: What was your routine during CBSE board exam preparation?
A: My routine was to wake up at 5:00 am and take a bath and have breakfast and sit to study at 6:30I
am to 8:15 am, then after having 2nd meal, I sit from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm with some small breaks of 10 minutes, then after having lunch, I study from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm, then from 5:00pm to 7:00 pm I go to the gym. After coming from the gym, I study for 2 and a half hours from 7:30 pm to 10:00 pm, after which I do my dinner and then go to bed at 11:00 pm.
Q: What are your future plans? Which career path are you aiming?
A: My goal is to pursue a career in neurosurgery. I am currently focused on preparing for medical entrance exams and aim to secure a seat in a reputed medical college. Neurosurgery is a challenging field, but I am determined to work hard and make a significant impact.
Q: What is your favourite subject?
A: My favourite subject was Chemistry. For me, chemistry was most easy to understand. Chemistry is more practical in my opinion, which makes it interesting.
Q: What entrance exams are you targeting?
A: Currently I am preparing for NEET examination
Q: What is your dream college/institute?
A: I have two dream college, AIIMS KALYANI and GMC NAGPUR, as these colleges are renowned for their medical program and have excellent facilities
Q: What are your future goals?
A: My ultimate goal is to become a neurosurgeon and contribute to advancing treatments for neurological disorders. I am also passionate about medical research and hope to work on projects that focus on brain health and innovative surgical techniques.

A: My tips for students preparing for CBSE Board Exams 2026 are :-
1. Be consistent throughout the year. Don't waste a single day
2. Don't make backlogs. As it may complicate your time and your present studies
3. If you ever feel demotivated. Just think about your dream you have been dreaming about and think about your parents
4. Never study 12 hour before an exam or in the morning before exam. As it may make you unconfident about your practice and make you depressed
5. Just believe in yourself, don't listen to negative comments, make good friends and avoid negative people
