IIM-A e-PGD ABA Admissions 2022: The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) has invited eligible candidates to apply for the fourth batch of its e-Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced Business Analytics (e-PGD ABA). IIM-A e-PGD ABA is a 16-month programme in Applied Analytics for working professionals. Interested candidates can apply for admission to the programme from August 1, 2022. The e-PGD ABA programme is designed specifically to cater to this demand and is inviting applications from professionals who would like to learn Applied Analytics without taking a break from their work, the official statement reads.
It further adds, “Meant to accommodate the hectic schedules of working professionals, the programme offers a carefully balanced mix of online and on-campus experiential modules. The objective of the programme is to help candidates learn and internalize strong conceptual foundations of Applied Analytics through rigorous coursework, peer to peer learning and capstone projects.”

Candidates (General category) seeking admission to IIM-A for MBA must have a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate. For final selection, a student is required to have a valid score in the CAT exam (both sectional and overall) and is required to go through the AWT and PI rounds conducted by the institute. Additionally, for the final selection of candidates, everything right from their scores in Class 10, Class 12 and graduation are considered along with their CAT percentile, PI and WAT scores, stream in Class 12 and work experience.

For admission to MBA (or PGP) at IIM Ahmedabad, the CAT test is usually conducted in November. Aspirants of IIM Ahmedabad are required to appear for the exam in Computer Based Testing mode at the allotted test centres. CAT exam is held in three slots:
- Morning slot: 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM
- Afternoon slot: 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM
- Evening slot: 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM
Candidates seeking admission in MBA-PGPX at IIM Ahmedabad must have a bachelor's degree and at least four years of experience. On successful completion of this course, students are given a Master of Business Administration degree.
For admission, aspirants must have GMAT/ GRE scores. The new GMAT Focus Edition exam scores are also accepted. Online GMAT/GRE (take home) exam scores are not valid. Candidates are also required to appear for a PI round and submit an essay for final selection.
The ePGD-ABA programme offers courses on tools and techniques for data visualization, modelling and analysis of data, machine learning algorithms, and finally, the domain specific applications of data analytics across functions.
IIM-A e-PGD ABA Admissions 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who have a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience (preferably in business analytics), hold a bachelor’s degree, have strong quantitative and analytical problem-solving skills and a valid test score in GMAT/GRE/CAT/GATE or the ePGD-ABA qualifying-cum-aptitude test can apply for the programme.

IIM Ahmedabad MBA tuition fees is INR 20.1 lakh. The fee is quite high. As per the sources on web, the fees is high as it operates autonomously without direct funding from government. IIMA relies on expensive global learning resources and maintain a high-end campus infrastructure.

Yes, IIM Ahmedabad refunds MBA fees in case of withdrawal of admission after deducting a processing fees of INR 1,000. The refund is done as per the notification from MHRD, Department of Higher Education, Govt. of India. The refund is released to the same account from which amount was received.
