IIM Ahmedabad offers loan assistance to ePGP students

The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM A) has announced that it will offer loan facility to students enrolling for its newly launched ePGP programme.
The e-Post Graduate Programme in Management (ePGP) for junior, mid and senior level professionals and entrepreneurs, was launched in January this year and by April the institute had received over 2000 applications from professional for enrollment into the programme.
Given the overwhelming response to the programme and its high fee, the institute has decided to help admission seekers in seeking loan facility.
"The ePGP programme is designed in line with other long duration diploma programmes. Considering the programme duration and its value, a loan facility at attractive terms has been made available to students," said ePGP Programme Chair Professor Biju Varkkey of IIMA.
Hughes Global Education is the technology partner of IIM A for the two-year programme which will be offered on Interactive Online Learning (IOL) platform from June 2017.
Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria of minimum graduation score of 50 percent can enroll through GMAT/CAT or the institute's IIM Admission Test (IAT) scores.
With over 800 hours of classroom instruction, the programme will follow two phase curriculum. In the first year, the curriculum will focus on equipping the candidates with latest skills and knowledge on various areas of management. In the second year, the candidates will be offered a range of electives to choose from; helping them in exploring and enhancing their managerial qualities further.
Last date of submitting the application form is April 29, 2017 and the course will commence from June 11, 2017.

IIM Ahmedabad MBA tuition fees is INR 20.1 lakh. The fee is quite high. As per the sources on web, the fees is high as it operates autonomously without direct funding from government. IIMA relies on expensive global learning resources and maintain a high-end campus infrastructure.

Yes, IIM Ahmedabad refunds MBA fees in case of withdrawal of admission after deducting a processing fees of INR 1,000. The refund is done as per the notification from MHRD, Department of Higher Education, Govt. of India. The refund is released to the same account from which amount was received.
