I'm satisfied with the college and the faculty.
Placements: Placements here are pretty good for the software branches while the placements for the core branches have to be improved. Core branches like mining, some cementing companies visit the college for placements. So the students from mining had to prepare for GATE since the competition in the branch is too low.
Infrastructure: The course I'm pursuing is BE in mining. Since the college is among the top ten mining colleges over India after the NIT/ IIT, so it is the best place for me to complete my UG here. Hostels in Acharya are pretty good. They provide three types of hostel for boys. The first type of hostel is Acharya NE, which charges the fee of Rs. 1,50,000 with two sharing. The second type of hostel is Acharya HKG, which charges the fee of Rs. 1,11,000 with three sharing. The third type of hostel is Acharya Shakti, which charges the fee of Rs. 80,000 with three sharing. There are common bathrooms for the entire floors like 6 rooms per floor.
Faculty: Faculty members in our branch are like precious gems which are limited. So there are 7-8 faculty for the branch. They are fully filled with the knowledge of the respective branch. They are supportive to the obedience and inverse for the others. Since there are only two colleges in the state, and there is low competition.
Other: I have chosen this branch as I like geology and nature, and I want to stay away from the rat race.

The college has good infrastructure.
Placements: Mining is different from other engineering branches, so I don't think placements will be compulsory for everyone. It's better to explore who's on the course and branch. This gives vast details and procedures, which are interesting. So, finally don't hope for the placements.
Infrastructure: Overall, the infrastructure of our college is excellent. Now, a mining block is under construction, which produces a lot of noise and always disturb the students. The labs are well-equipped with the latest equipment.
Faculty: The faculty members and the course curriculum are good. In Acharya Institute of technology, the faculty members of mining department are the best. They always try to make the students knowledgeable. They are strict, and if you are caught in the nightmare, you will be suspended.
Other: FEAT is Karnataka's the biggest fest, which is organised by our college, and everyone loves it.

Greatly satisfied by the faculty, not so happy with the management, splendid infrastructure though.
Placements: Students are allowed to participate in all the relevant companies. Reputed mining companies have also recruited few students from both passed out batch and present batch. Faculty have been the backbone of the department in terms of academics and also the career oriented issues. Most of the students are either working or pursuing higher education.
Infrastructure: State of art architecture, well kept premises, beautiful gardens, dedicated buildings for various activities, library is one of the best, has a cricket stadium, basketball courts, cafeteria, hostels for boys and girls. Altogether it's one of the finest campuses in the state.
Faculty: All faculty are well experienced, great at curriculum. Always encouraging and motivating the students. Have established the department with all profoundness. They constantly try to bring in the best for students by conducting several workshops, forum activities, field visits, guest lectures.
Other: Every year in the month of March students gather for the biggest event of the college, the Acharya Habba. Since the campus houses different streams, you can expect one or the other event almost every month.

Really good infrastructure, importance is given to both sports and academics as well.
Placements: The placements in the mining department are not so good. On an individual need overall 60% aggregate for campus selection, last year nearly 5 students were selected among 12 in a private concern. There paid 15k per month, and there are some IT companies coming to this college for campus interview, and few were selected in last year.
Infrastructure: This college has a very good infrastructure and peace environment where the students can accommodate themselves very easily and can study wholeheartedly. The special thing is cricket stadium and central library. Nearly more than lakhs of books are available to get a benefit for students.
Faculty: The mining faculty are mostly PhD holders, and they have good experience in mining field, so the teaching part is so good, the way they teach us will lead us to be more skilful as well as more talented. The things that were taught can be applied in the field, so overall teaching part is very good in mining department.
