Everything is awesome except for the hostel facility.

Placements: In our course, there is no placement cell. Though, the face value makes better chances to get a job elsewhere. There are no paid internships, and you have to pay a fee to get an internship. But there is no need to grieve because the name of AIIMS Delhi is enough, and you can get a pretty good job if you have a degree from AIIMS Delhi.

Infrastructure: Females are more as compared to males on the campus. Even in our batch, I am the only male candidate. Individuals from all states are get selected for PGs. We also have a Tamil mess in hostel 8, on the first floor. We also have a scientific community-based union called the Society of Young Scientists. I don't think there is any sex discrimination on the campus nor any discrimination in terms of caste, religion, politics, or economic status. Every other month we have Scientific conferences, poster presentation competitions, scientific talks, etc. The hostel rooms are average, but the problem is they allot one room to 3 M.Sc boys from different streams. Sometimes this causes problems as some people do not keep hygiene.

Faculty: Few faculty members really know the concept of what they are teaching. They are very supportive and helpful. Few faculty members are average, and some have very little knowledge about the subject they are teaching. Everyone is helpful here. The course is divided into 6 subjects, which are general biochemistry, immunology, RDT, molecular biology, stem cell Biology cell, Biology, and other minor branches. The M.Sc in Medical Biochemistry is highly research-oriented. Each student has to choose a particular faculty member's lab according to their research interest. Students also have clinical case discussions. Each M.Sc. students have to complete their thesis, which is purely based on scientific experiments. They have to work for research. This thesis helps them get trained in lab oriented environment and work in it.

The faculty members are averagely good. I'm sort of not satisfied with them. The hostels are okay.

Placements: 0% of students were placed in my course. Nil is the average package offered in my course. The unpaid internship is pretty common in my course. The subject doesn't allow us to get placed in companies. Placement cell doesn't exist. Talking of roles, students usually go for a Ph.D. in the same course and get fellowships.

Infrastructure: The new hostels such as hostel no. 16-19 have good rooms. The old hostels are not good. The facilities are good, the laboratories are fully equipped with all sorts of reagents, instruments and biological devices. The food quality is averagely good. I would recommend mess no 8, 5 and RPC.

Faculty: There are some faculty members who are thorough in the field they teach. Few faculty members are just there who doesn't even know the basics. The syllabus they teach is just an overview of things which would not come in the final exams. Students must study on their own.

Other: I am a student of M.Sc. Medical Biochemistry (batch 2018-20). I chose this course because it helps me become a research scholar. One thing is sure that AIIMS allow us to do much more practical stuff in the laboratory then just reading in the library. I would like to improve the placement cell. Every year AIIMS Delhi organise "Pulse", it is one of the largest South Asian medical college fests. It is great and hostel life is amazing.
