INI CET 2021 preparation tips

INI CET Nov 2025 exam will be held on November 9, 2025. INI CET application process comprises both basic and final registration. INI CET, known as the Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance entrance exam is conducted twice a year for admission to the PG courses at 23 institutes of National Importance including 19 AIIMS. AIIMS released INI CET Nov 2025 admit card on November 1, 2025.

For the first time, INI CET exam was conducted in November 2020. This is the reason why students doe not have much idea about the INI CET 2025 syllabus and its exam pattern. They must be curious to know about the preparation strategy and other tips to improve the overall score in INI CET 2025 November exam. Through INI CET 2025 exam, candidates will get admission to 2,017 seats in different courses including Master of Surgery (MS), Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctorate of Medicine (DM), Masters of Chirurgie (MCh), and Masters of Dental Surgery (MDS).

How Can You Be Prepared for INI CET 2025?

INI CET Nov 2025 candidates have to be prepared by knowing about the exam pattern, question types, marking scheme and other important details for qualifying the NEET exam.

Know INI CET 2025 November Exam Pattern

The INI CET Exam Pattern covers all the useful information such as exam duration, mode, type, total number of questions asked as well as marking scheme.  Those who are appearing in the exam must be well aware of the INI CET 2025 pattern to plan accordingly. The exam will be conducted in a computer-Based mode at digital centers in which all candidates will be allotted a separate system with separate login IDs. The test paper will comprise a total of 200 objective questions with a single correct answer and multiple correct answer type questions. Candidates will get three hours or 180 minutes to answer the paper.

 Type of questions in INI CET 2025 November Exam

The IN CET 2025 test paper will have 200 MCQ questions which will be further divided into the below-mentioned types.

Single Correct Answer Type Question: Candidates will be given 4 options to answer such questions. Out of those four options, only 1 option will be correct. Below is one of the examples of a single correct answer type questions.

The answer to the above question is ‘emulsification of fats’, thus the candidate has to mark ‘c’.
 
Multiple Correct Choice questions: As the name suggests, such types of questions will have more than one correct answer. Candidates need to be careful to answer them as the best suitable option will be the correct choice.

Such questions will have responses like
(1) If a, b, c are correct
(2) If a & c are correct
(3) If d & b are correct
(4) If a, b, c, & d are correct
 
Candidates must read and understand questions thoroughly to answer such questions. Since more than one given option will be correct here. Candidates must note that, though the question may have more than one correct answer, there is only one correct response even for these questions. Candidates will have to mark only one response on the OMR sheet for such questions.

As INI CET is a PG-level exam, candidates must not leave any stone unturned to score well in the upcoming exam. They should pay attention to the following tips.

  • Candidates need to keep themselves updated as per the latest INI CET pattern

  • Prepare a plan to cover whole INI CET syllabus in strategic manner

  • As syllabus is of UG level, candidates are advised to pay attention to all subjects of MBBS course

  • Candidates must know that superficial reading won’t help. In-depth knowledge of a subject is must
