Ajeenkya DY Patil University Pune.
Placements: Nearly about 90%-95% of the students get placements in the best companies from our college. The highest salary package offered here is 6.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is more than 3 LPA. TCS, IBM, L&T, Ubisoft, NTT and many more companies visit our campus for placements. Almost all students from our course got internships.
Infrastructure: I pursued B.Tech in blockchain degree in this university as it was the most fast-growing sector in engineering. This course was very difficult to understand but the teaching staff of this university really helped me to overcome my difficulties from time to time. The faculty in this university was the best. The exams were separated into 8 terms and this degree was of 4 years. The hostel has all the facilities and the in time is 10:00 pm. There are rooms with 3 beds and they are well furnished. Washrooms are cleaned regularly and there is no problem at all. Hot water is also available in the morning.
Faculty: This course was very difficult to understand but the teaching staff of this university really helped me to overcome my difficulties from time to time. The faculty in this university was the best. The exams were separated into 8 terms and this degree was of 4 years.

Faculty members are great at teaching.
Placements: I attended placement workshops that were conducted by the college. Placement faculty members provided knowledge about the things you should do before sitting in an interview. Grooming etiquette and preparing resumes were things that were also taught during these workshops. I don't have a personal opinion about placements that took place in college since I had a plan of opting for further education after my bachelors. Nonetheless, I can testify that there were quite a few companies that came to the campus, and some of our colleagues get a job.
Infrastructure: The campus is huge and spacious. Parking was sometimes an issue on days when the college was crowded, but there are 3 spaces for parking. The building of the School of Engineering shifted to a different building to avoid crowds as new branches in SoE were introduced. Use of projectors during a class is very common and helps to make the lecture interactive. I was a part of the first batch, and there was a slight drawback for our batch since labs were either in the making or were not well-equipped. Now, I think there are better-equipped labs with hopefully more lab sessions. The 3D printer and laser cutter are the best equipment that I found unique in this college.
Faculty: Faculty members of mechatronics are very knowledgeable about their subjects. They are always ready to help with any academia or co-curricular works that fit their domain. If you maintain a good reputation amongst faculty members, attend classes regularly and be polite and straightforward, then you can always expect a helping hand from faculty members when needed. However, it does not mean faculty members are biased towards good students. They try to treat every student equally, be it a slow learner or pacer.
Other: The university has different colleges, i.e., School of Engineering, School of Film and Media, School of Design, School of Law, School of Management, etc. You can only expect multiple events throughout the academic year like cultural fests, technical fests, symposiums and competition events. You can always see some interesting things happening on our campus.

The college focuses more on practical learning over theory.
Placements: 80% of the students were placed from the batch of 2020. The top recruiting companies were Tata Motors, Upgrade, iTrontik and Byju's. The top roles offered in my course are Sales executive, Marketing and Management executive. 50% of the students got internship at the end of third year of our course.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are well furnished and advanced teaching and learning process is used by the faculty members. Wi-Fi service is provided by the college throughout the campus. The food quality in canteen is great and is affordable. The college supports and encourages students for sports such as cricket, football, basketball, badminton, tennis, etc.
Faculty: The faculty are well qualified and experienced. They are always eager to help the students and guide them properly in their respective courses. The faculty also encourage the students to do things out of the box. The course curriculum is well-set for a student to be made industry ready.
Other: Annual College Fest is held every year and is well organized.

Our university makes students industry-ready.
Placements: Almost all the students got placed from our course, and almost 100% internships are provided by our college. A lot of companies like TCS, Hexaware Technologies, etc., visit here for campus placements. Special placement workshops are also conducted by our university to prepare students for industry and future technology.
Infrastructure: Our university has a Wi-Fi facility, along with dedicated labs with all tools and updated equipment. There are various clubs in the university which provide wonderful practical knowledge and also enhance students social and technical skills. The campus is well managed with 2 canteens and a cafeteria.
Faculty: Faculty members here are supportive and helpful with expertise knowledge in their field. The course curriculum is practical-oriented, and it includes one project every semester. Industrial visits conducted here provide industrial exposure, and the course curriculum is updated on a regular basis to meet industry standards.
Other: Our university also arranges various events.

It is an innovation university and provides the best for students.
Placements: Students who are always good at their college curriculum and maintain their results get placements. Good salary packages are offered to students in well-known companies. Students are provided with very good seminars, and placement mocks and drives, which make them ready for their future.
Infrastructure: The college has well-equipped laboratories. Hostels are also well maintained, and good canteen facilities are available with proper hygiene maintained around the clock. Students are provided with 24x7 security and round the clock and medical facilities.
Faculty: This university has amazing facultymembers who are ready to help and encourage at every stage for the development of the student during the course. They provide the best possible guidance. Faculty members hold huge industry experience and are well qualified with the current existing technologies.
Other: Around the year, several fests are conducted from all the departments for student welfare and cultural development as well as to showcase their talents.

I am extremely dissatisfied with placements, faculty members and admin department.
Placements: Placements in our college were very disappointing. Faculty members do not take students' requests seriously. Companies visiting here for interviews were only of sales or marketing and business development mainly. There are no good opportunities for B.Tech mechatronic graduate in spite of a huge market scope.
Infrastructure: ULC is unclean and has a very sad atmosphere. However, it is a very clean and good college to gain your education. Unfortunately, B.Tech courses are conducted in ULC, which does not have proper labs or clean washrooms. They did not even provide proper educational equipment, such as a projector or computers with programming software. Classrooms here are manageable, and Wi-Fi is available. The cafeteria is also good.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are average. Some of them are extremely uninterested about the students' well-being, but some are keen to help you. Teaching quality is not the best. The course curriculum is well-designed but not executed in the manner. It does not help students to be industry-ready as there is no hands-on experience given in the college. Students have to gain that through training and internships from elsewhere at their own expenditure.
Other: I have chosen this course because mechatronics has a huge scope as it combines three major branches of engineering in one. A mechatronics engineer should have knowledge about the mechanical, electronic as well as the IT aspect of a system. I wish ADYPU would have at least one robotics lab for students to practice their theoretical knowledge. Apart from that, I hope the placement scenario in college will get improve as many students are dissatisfied with the way it is being taken up.

The university charge exorbitantly high for backlog subjects.
Placements: The first batch will graduate this year. Students are really very foggy about the placements offered. Some companies are visiting the college for placements. There were huge promises made about internships and placements. I am waiting for them to be delivered.
Infrastructure: Prior to admissions, students were promised that the lectures would be conducted in ULC building. Infrastructure at ULC is very good. Contradictory to the promise of conducting lectures in ULC, school of engineering students were shifted to SOE building (ULC2.0) with the below-average standard of infrastructure. The infrastructure in SOE (ULC2.0) building was not justifying the fee paid. The college hostel is very costly. Labs are average.
Faculty: Few faculty members are highly qualified that I believe ADYPU isn't a place for them. They deserve to be in a better place. A few faculty members are very rude. It feels like they just want to exercise the power of being a professor. At some instances, faculty members have been proven to be very helpful. There have been instances where they weren't helpful. Majority faculty members are friendly and approachable.
Other: The university charge exorbitantly high for backlog courses. Backlog fee for 3 credit course is Rs. 9,900. An average course in engineering is of 3 credits. Backlog fee for 1 credit is Rs. 3,300. There was also a proposal in the university to raise single credit fee to Rs. 6,600, and this would cost rs. 19,900 for 3 credit course. The courses taught at university don't justify the fees for a single credit, and basically, Rs. 9,900 spent on repeating a course isn't worth the cost. The course content, delivery and curriculum aren't worth the fees. One should note this before joining the university. If you are seeking intellectual people, then the chances are very less that you'll see one. The university tries to endorse itself as a good university.

A good college for mechatronics engineering.
Placements: Students of the first batch of this college got admission based on their previous class percentage. But, we got admission through ADYPU entrance test. I cannot tell about placements, but we get good opportunities for internships at Go Industries to get industrial experience. I think this college provides good placements. Almost 90% of the students got placements based on their internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Labs are good. The whole campus is Wi-Fi enabled and is available 24*7. The campus has two football fields, two volleyball fields, four tennis courts and two basketball courts. Labs are well-equipped. International medical facilities are provided on the campus. The college has badminton courts and a small gym. Facilities are good. We had a swimming pool, but it is demolished due to the shortage of water. We also have air-conditioned mechatronics lab and robotics lab.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members have completed their PhD from well-recognised institutes across India and abroad. A few faculty members have completed MSc. A few faculty members force us to publish a lot of projects and research papers. Some are good, knowledgeable and have industrial experience but cannot explain it to us but we have to adjust with it. We have to study on our own. The course curriculum is a little easy compared to other colleges.
Other: Our college organises a cultural fest named Detour and a sports fest named Impetus. Our college doesn't provide any scholarships as it's a private college. My overall experience is good. The campus is lush green. Roads on the campus are good. A Canara Bank ATM facility is also available on the campus.

Hello Tejas, It is difficult to compare and say which is better since both have their own pros and cons and are better in their own way. Mechatronics engineering involved electronics and instrumentation concepts along with mechanical concepts and hence it is designed in such a way to suit the future
