Altera Institute Admission 2026: Courses, Eligibility and Selection

Altera Institute provides a 15-month Post Graduate Program (PGP) in Applied Marketing, a specialised programme designed to equip students for digital and AI-first careers in areas like Growth Marketing, Product Management, and eCommerce.

Altera Institute Gurugram admission criteria is entrance-based. Candidates are admitted to the PGP course based on CAT/GMAT/XAT/NMAT scores. Aspirants without a score in any of these exams can take the Altera National Aptitude Test (ALNAT). Apart from this, aspirant must hold a valid UG degree passed with at least 50% aggregate. The application form can be submitted online. Selected candidates can pay admission fee amount for seat confirmation. 

Altera Institute offers entrance-based admission to PGP in Applied marketing. The college accepts various entrance exam scores such as CAT/ GMAT/ XAT/ NMAT  or equivalent examinations scores for admission to PGP in Applied marketing. Further, candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria to secure admission i.e. undergraduate degree with a score of 60% or equivalent from a recognised university/institute.

No, CAT is not specifically mandatory for Altera Institute PGP course admissions, instead, candidates need to appear for any national level entrance exam for MBA admissions. However, if you don't have a competitive exam score such as (CAT, NMAT, GMAT, XAT), you will be required to take Altera's own aptitude test, the ALNAT. There is no additional fee for taking ALNAT; it is part of the application process.

The tuition fee is INR 15.44 lakh at  Altera Institute. The programme fee can be paid through all common online modes of payment like credit card, UPI etc. Find below the fee break-up of different components:

• Total Fee: INR 16.44 lakh
• Hostel Fee: INR 3 lakh onwards.
