B.Tech. in Information Technology - Batch of 2026
3.4
Full of greenery with positive vibes.
Placements: The placement cell is present on my campus, and almost 45% of students get placed every year. The companies that come to my campus include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, etc. Some non-tech companies also visit. The highest package of B.Tech in my field is 21 LPA, and the minimum package is 7 LPA.
Infrastructure: My campus is full of greenery, which gives a positive vibe to students. The infrastructure of my campus is average because only two buildings are present: one for B.Tech and Diploma, and one for higher education. The campus includes libraries, laboratories, a canteen, along with projectors and Wi-Fi. One boys' and two girls' hostels are present on my campus.
Faculty: Faculty members in my course are highly educated and very helpful towards students. They help students online as well as offline mode. Industrial visits are available only for last-year students. Semesters are not very tough; students can pass exams just by studying two or three days before the exam.
Other: I chose this course because I see a bright future in the Information Technology field, and the best thing about this course is that we need more good and advanced code. The attendance percentage should decrease from 75% because of this; students are not able to improve their skills. A lot of fests and events are not conducted in my campus; they focus more on academics.

Amazing for only those who are good in studies .
Placements: Placement cell is present in my campus, and the maximum placement package in my B.Tech in the IT department is 15 LPA, with a minimum of 8 LPA. Companies come to my campus to hire students, such as Wipro, TCS, Infosys, etc. Mostly, non-tech companies come, and in these non-tech companies, mostly students get placed.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my campus is not so good, but it is full of greenery, and two buildings are present—one for B.Tech and the other for higher education. Two girls' hostels and a boys' hostel are placed in my campus. A canteen is also present inside my campus, which provides meals to students at an affordable price. Labs and a library are also present on my campus.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly qualified, very supportive, and motivate students. The first-year faculty in my campus is incredible; their teaching skills are very good. They clear students' doubts and support students in both online and offline modes. Semester exams are not very difficult, so students are able to clear exams.
Other: I choose this course because want be an engineer, fest and events are conducted in my campus, annual is connected every year in the end of even semester called AWAHAN, alot of crowd is created during these programs and students enjoy alot.

Good environment and a great place to study for students.
Placements: I believe placements depend on students' skills and knowledge rather than the college. The package offered at my institute is 15 LPA, with a minimum package of 7 LPA. There is a charge for students to participate in placements, whereas in other colleges, it is free. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, etc. visit the campus.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the institute is above average, with two buildings. There are well-equipped laboratories and computer labs with a full Wi-Fi connection. The campus canteen provides good and affordable meals. Hostel facilities are not exceptional, and sports events are conducted annually.
Faculty: The faculty members are highly educated, and each one is remarkable. They are very supportive, and the semester exams, set up by AKTU (Abdul Kalam Technical University), are not overly difficult. Students can pass the exams with ease.
Other: I am pursuing a B.Tech. in information technology with the aim of becoming a software engineer, given the promising future scope. The campus is bustling with a crowd, and the DRCC facility allows for the submission of scholarship forms on campus, including UP scholarships, Saksham scholarships, and Pragati scholarships. Various events like tech fests, hackathons, and annual functions are organized.

It has good facilities and campus is full of greenery which provides positive atmosphere.
Placements: The placement facilities on my campus are average because mostly non-tech companies come. On the other hand, it is good because most students are not good at coding, so non-tech companies provide employment opportunities, which is a good thing. The companies on my campus include TCS, Wipro, HCL, Infosys, etc. I think 70% of students get internships and placements because all the companies I mentioned basically hire freshers. The highest package at my institute is 15 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my campus is quite okay. In my campus, two buildings are present, one for B.Tech and the other for BCA, MBA, and BBA. A lot of greenery is present in my campus, creating a positive atmosphere. Labs and libraries are fully air-conditioned with a proper Wi-Fi connection. The projectors in classrooms make normal classrooms into smart classrooms. In my campus, a canteen is also present, providing good meals for the students, and the price of food is not too high, so students can easily afford it. However, due to the large crowd, people sometimes have to wait for their meals. In the hostel, proper meals are provided to students, along with a proper breakfast. Medical facilities are also provided on campus, and sports events are conducted, with some gold, silver, and bronze medalists present.
Faculty: The faculty is well-educated, highly qualified, and full of experience. They have a lot of knowledge in their fields. My course follows the curriculum of AKTU, and the semester exams are also conducted by AKTU. They provide students with admit cards, exam centers, and exam schedules. The semester exams are not very difficult, and students need to score 35 marks out of 100. I think the passing percentage of AKTU is 85%.
Other: I chose B.Tech (I.T) because many family members are in the computer field, providing me proper career guidance. The scope of information technology is good. I think the attendance percentage for this course should decrease because AKTU requires 75% attendance from students, which acts as an obstacle in acquiring skills. CGPA grades are important, but skills are also crucial to crack higher-level packages. In my institute, many events are not conducted because they pay a lot of attention to organizing technical programs like hackathons and tech fests, which are also important. The campus surroundings involve a lot of greenery, and the campus crowd is also very high. They also provide DRCC facilities for Bihar students, and the status of scholarships is good. Students who join the college through counseling definitely get UP scholarships, but the amount is decided based on courses and caste. My campus conducts freshers' parties, and they also organize an annual function called "AWAHAN." In this event, a large crowd participates, showcasing their talents and creating an enthusiastic atmosphere in students' college life.

Review of AIMT, Lucknow by batch 2020 .
Placements: Our college is top 2nd college of engineering in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. In IT department more than 80% of students got placement. Some got placed in there 3rd year with the package more than 9 LPA. The highest package till now is 27 LPA in last year. Many companies visit here such as swiggy, coca cola, and many other MNCs.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is based on modern technology all the labs are well furnished with all the instruments which are needed to create you a good engineer. Mess food is average but I didn't like there breakfast. They provide only 2 rupee parle g in breakfast.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and very well knowledgeable. Curriculum is mostly theoretical its the reason I didn't like it much. If you want a be industry ready you need to do more practice by yourself. Semester exam as quite easy you will surely pass in 1 month of proper study.
Other: I am totally addicted of technology since childhood its the only reason I wanna become an engineer. The course should be more practical based.

Everything is good only that it is located outside the city area.
Placements: Percentage at which I entered is 68.40. The highest package depends on performance and minimum 3 lacs per annum is offered. TCS, WIPRO, PEPCODING, RAZORPAY were top recruiters. 60% is minimum percentage to get paced in any companies but for multi national companies you should have to score better. This is not just for your placement but for your improvement also.
Infrastructure: There are gym facilities, proper field area for badminton and volleyball, night time paid Wi-Fi only, not big library but satisfactory, AC classroom. Quality of food in hostel is average, sometime poor also but satisfied, canteen is not too big, average in sports and games.
Faculty: Faculty is not good but few faculty members are very good means very qualified. Curriculum is relevant but not satisfied. Semester exams are not difficult, they are very easy depend upon your luck. Semester exam is from abdul kalam technical university and this abdul Kalam technical university Lucknow don't take very hard semester exam so don't worry about exam.

Ambalika Institute of Management and Technology has a good infrastructure.
Placements: Approximately 80% of the students were placed from our course. As our college was new during my tenure, the placements were quite good compared to other colleges. The highest salary package offered here was 6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was around 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies here are HCL, TCS, Wipro and Softgen Technologies. Around 50% of the students got internships in companies like HCL TCS and many others. Top roles offered here are analyst, computer engineer, network engineer, BPO profile, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities of our college were very good that they made college life very comfortable. Labs were sufficient for more than 700 students. The campus was Wi-Fi enabled for studying with ease, and there were libraries on every floor. The quality of the food served was just satisfactory. I took admission to this college because of its infrastructure and facilities. Medical facilities were excellent as there were doctors in case of emergency, and an ambulance was also available.
Faculty: Teachers here were well qualified enough to impart knowledge to students. They were also experienced, but there were less experienced faculty members for some subjects like C, professional communication, etc. The teaching quality was also good as they use projectors for some live sessions or any video learning.
Other: I chose this course because of its infrastructure, and also it is a new college. Events and fest were not organised much here. There was no emphasis on extracurricular activities.

My college is awesome in studies, infrastructure and a better idea for advancement in your career.
Placements: The placements of the college are just average. We cannot just blame the college, and it depends entirely upon the performance of the students. They are placed based on their eligibility. One has to work hard to achieve the goals instead of blaming the college for not getting them placed.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good. There are vast fields that are utterly useless. There are fewer buildings and more land. They can arrange a football court instead of wasting the land, or some other course of education should be established or else they could open an academy. There are a number of ways to fulfil the infrastructure and make the college look beautiful.
Faculty: The faculty of the college is good. The faculty in the first year of my studies was awesome. They are very knowledgeable and very cooperative. The faculty in every department are good, but few teachers are not good. The best part of the college is when you don't understand the teacher you can complain about them and in some processing time, they will be replaced with a better teacher.
Other: It is a great college in terms of studies and infrastructure. One has to take admission to be advance in technology and management resulting in a better career. Simply, it is one of the best colleges in Lucknow to advance your career in bachelors of technology. The faculty is very good, co-operative and helpful in many ways.
