My honest review of my college.

Placements: Companies ranging from top Fortune 100 companies like Amazon, Microsoft to cutting-edge startups visit the college for placements. Over 95% of the candidates eligible for placements (no backlogs) got placed. The salary package ranges from 3-17 LPA, depending on the company.

Infrastructure: In the first year, rooms have to be shared by 4 students. In the second and third year, rooms are double sharing, and in the final year, individual rooms are given. One cannot expect luxury in hostels, but basic necessities are available.

Faculty: The course curriculum is on par with the NIT syllabus. Rocking-edge courses like cloud computing, soft computing, etc., are offered as electives. Electives varied from theoretical papers like human-computer interface to complete hands-on web-centric programming. For all the theory papers, 60% weightage is given to continuous assessment, and only 40% weightage is given to the end semester examinations. Every class test or assignment is critical and has to be taken very seriously. Most of the faculty members are either doctorates or are in their final year to become doctorates. The course curriculum is relevant, but the structure of the course is not up to date. Faculty members are good, and they help us understand the concepts. They are well-educated and they have a doctorate degree in their field.

I am happy to be a part of this college.

Placements: The college is committed to recruitment through various companies. It uniquely focuses on offering top packages. A wide range of students get placed in non-core sectors, which accounts for up to 63%. The placement standards are high compared to other colleges.

Infrastructure: Students from other areas shift to the Kochi campus to pursue their higher studies. Regular updates about college events and other information are shared on the college website to showcase their developments. All the disciplines are separated by tiered building zones.

Faculty: Lecturers are sometimes irresponsible in their duties and commitment to work. They delay informing students about important notices sent by the management, which creates problems in the future. Teachers are suggested to attend webinars to stay updated with technology.

Placements: For our batch, 69% of students cracked the final interviews and grabbed successful job offers. Placement assistance puts their highest efforts into fulfilling students' designed career offers. The moderate package usually ranges between 3.1 LPA and 5.4 LPA.

Infrastructure: After scrolling through the various information about the college, I joined this college. Probably 75% of the information is true; they are charging much higher fees for buses, hostels, and others. College has secured the highest recognition from various organisations for its remarkable excellence in service.

Faculty: Teachers should have a preference among the students. They are highly preferred by the students scoring the highest ranks. Their teaching methods are okay, but I suggest that they teach with some real-time examples for thorough analysis. Required to invest in some new ideas and strategies in teaching plans.

My honest review of my college.

Placements: If you don't have any backlogs, you are almost sure of getting a decent job by the 4th year. The mass recruiters hear almost everyone without any backlogs. It seems they have a tie-up with CTS, which is also a good option. There are lots of small companies that come for placement and offer very good packages.

Infrastructure: The mess food is really bad. Non-veg is not allowed inside the college campus. The mess food is vegetarian and follows the Kerala style. It's not spicy at all, which is not suitable for students from Tamil Nadu or Andhra. Hostel faculty members are good enough, and the environment is very clean.

Faculty: It's really challenging and good, with a lot of opportunities to carry on our research topics. There are departments like CEN, Mobile Networking, and various others that offer help to carry out research-related activities. They also offer you funds from various clubs in the college for your research if the project is really good. It's quite chilled out, with not much stress on exams. Labs are quite fun. We have around 2 to 3 labs every week. We have evaluation labs on alternate weeks, and exams come only at the end. It is almost impossible to fail. Our course is actually very simple. Both BCA and MCA can be completed with a single registration. The syllabus is also very simple. It is very easy to pass in our college, but scoring high marks is a task for students. The exam structure includes 2 internals and 2 class tests.

Faculty: Students appreciate the faculty's experience and their willingness to understand and address student challenges. Teachers were reported to be available to assist students, even outside of regular hours, and to provide comprehensive support. Students benefit from practical sessions, workshops, and projects that offer real-world experience.
