Good faculty, above average placement.
Placements: It has been 2 months since the placements started, and around 30–40 percent of students got placed. The highest currently was around 15 LPA in my department. When I was in my first year, the placements were very good. It decreased in the coming years. The average in one department is around 7-9 lakhs. If software is considered 20LPA, it would be easy if we have the right skills.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is on par with some of the government institutions in our country. High-tech labs and facilities are provided to every student. When it comes to hostel facilities, they are quite old and the new ones are being built for juniors. Coming to mess it up is average, sometimes worse but canteens are there for us in such conditions.
Faculty: Most of the faculty are highly knowledgeable and educated, and the curriculum is very hard for an average student. If we do not work hard, it will be very difficult to survive at this university. The curriculum is set in such a way that it is helpful for placements in both core and software and is also helpful for competitive exams such as GATE.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted something other than Tan software. Coming to events and festivals, like any other college, they are regulars.

It is kind of an average college.
Placements: It's not like it won't get placed. But it is more like you will be recruited by a mass-recruiting company. If you want a highly paid job, you have to drag yours like anything here. You have to put in too much extra effort to get a high-paying job. And for inter, you have to take care of those things; they will suggest you sphere, apply and all that, but still, your efforts matter the most.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is very good. But the main problem is that they turn off the Wi-Fi service at night after 12 and turn it on again at 5 in the morning. Labs are very good; there is no doubt about it. There will be some people who will continuously irritate you. But that's all right. The library is big and there will be enough books and a place to study with good Wi-Fi. Talking about hostels they are building new hostels which are really good but someone needs to be in the holding hostels so old hostels are not that good. Although they are trying to develop it, still if you put fair and lovely on a buffalo, she doesn't become fair.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are amazing here. The teachers here are like school teachers who will run behind you to study and learn if you have an interest in learning. The exams are some very hard. Again, it depends on you. How you handle your subjects and perform accordingly.
Other: Fees depend on the scholarship. If you are in the first slab, you will pay the least fee. And there are 4 labs. The lab fee is different for each branch. I am on the second slab so I can tell you my condition.

Our college was a good college.
Placements: Around 95% of students got jobs and some are going for higher studies. Average salary package is 10-12 LPA. the highest salary package is 25 LPA, and the lowest salary package is 4 LPA. Around 95% of students got selected for internships.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are quite good. Sometimes Wi-Fi speed is fast and sometimes slow. Mess food is average whereas canteen food is good and decent. Medical facilities are available 24 hours. This University has a big library. Classrooms and labs are quite decent.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and have a lot of knowledge. Their teaching quality is good. Semester examination is a bit difficult but if you listen to classes properly and practice will get a good score in exams.

Review of Amrita School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham- Coimbatore.
Placements: Around 80% of students are placed in software. Placements are good but coming to hardware companies and core companies it is not up to the mark. The highest salary package offered is 25 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 5 LPA. The top companies are Bosch and L&T.
Infrastructure: This college is ranked as 4th best on-campus wise. The campus is good, but the worst part is the food. The food is not good to eat. All the things are good regarding campus wise and sports.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and the staff is very friendly with the students. They will give suggestions in every aspect and a lot of information. If an average student got a seat, then do not join this college. The curriculum is hard to study so think before joining.
Other: In this college, no events and fests are held.

Other than the infrastructure, nothing seems to be worthy in the college for the amount we pay.
Placements: 1. Around 70% students got placed. 2. The highest- 12lakhs and the lowest - 2.45 Lacs and Average- 4.5 Lacs per annum. 3 Bosch, L&T are the top recruiting companies. 4. JE is the top role Internships are to be taken on our own. Many electrical companies like BHEL, L&T offer internships.
Infrastructure: 1. Pollution-free environment with added facilities like Wi-Fi, Labs with advanced equipments. Separate building for a library. 2. The quality of food is the worst that it's better to be a day scholar. Medical facilities seems to be okay. Have to pay some amount as a consultation fee every year with net fees. Sports and games facilities are available with adequate amount of accessories and kits.
Faculty: Only a few teachers teach with adequate knowledge and interest. Many don't even seems to care if we are listening or attending the class or not. Only compulsion is the attendance for which classes are to be attended by students. It's better if you have a friend who can teach you.

I am satisfied with the infrastructure and placements.
Placements: Placements were pretty good for all the branches except Mechanical branch. As all the companies were mostly based on computer Science oriented. So students from other background find it difficult to get placed. Overall there was 95% of placements.
Infrastructure: It is one of the most amazing and exotic campuses that you can come across. And the climate is very good here. The library of every place, canteens will be of walkable distance, and everything is easily accessible. But since the college is situated 25-30 km outside the city, it takes a lot of time to travel.
Faculty: Faculty members are qualified, and they help us to clarify our doubts in a practical format. Labs were well-equipped. Courses pattern had some restrictions because many colleges provide the liberty to choose the subjects and also the faculty for their curriculum.

A college with good educational values, but the only issue is the food.
Placements: Our college offers 100% placements. The highest salary package offered was 26 LPA, and the lowest was 3.25 LPA. Companies like TCS, Cognizant, National Instruments, L&T, Caterpillar, Bosch, and many others visit the campus to offer placements. Different roles like software engineer, junior engineer, etc., are offered for students. There is a corporate relationship management cell, and it takes care of placement drives conducted by all these companies.
Infrastructure: All facilities provided in our college are the best. Food is not that good, but we can get good food outside the college. We have the best infrastructure.
Faculty: This college is good in all aspects. We have enough faculty members. Students of all the departments are offered equal opportunities, and we also have good labs. All faculty members are helpful.

This is the best private college.
Placements: Around 20% of the students were offered internships in their final semesters. Almost 90% of the students were placed in a good company with decent salary packages. The placements bloomed with the increase in placement opportunities in the IT sector sector. The average salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. The CSE department had a very high placements record with the arrival of super dream companies.
Infrastructure: The college has a decent infrastructure with good labs in mechanical and electrical departments. But the labs are little outdated, and they have to be equipped with new and advanced equipment using new technologies. The labs in the CSE department are very good when compared to other branches as the labs of the CSE department are sponsored by CISCO.
Faculty: Teachers in the college were good. The teaching quality of most of the professors is very effective. They have good industrial experience. The faculty to student ratio was around 1:50. They have to publish a paper in IEEE every year to maintain their rank among professors, and it helps them to maintain their good standards.
Other: Anokha is a national level tech fest organised by the college. The connectivity to the college is a bit risky.
