Placements: Placements are very good on the campus. But for core companies, the placement is very low. Around 1/4 of students are also not placed. But IT placements are very good on campus. In our batch, all got the internship opportunities at a very big company L&T.
Infrastructure: Hostel is very good. They provide good food compared to other colleges. But they provide only veggies in the mess. Now non-veg is introduced inside the campus from 2024, only in the main canteen. Taste-wise, it's very good and hygienic. We have medical clinics that are free for all and we only need to pay for tablets. Basic needs like physical departments and gyms are available separately.
Faculty: For every four years, based on the students feedback and modern updates, the curriculum is changed accordingly. New courses are added/updated as per the modern needs. All the teachers are very well knowledgeable and experienced. Most of them are PhD holders. Coming to the exam, it will be moderate but correction will be strictly done.
Other: The college organizes cultural festivals and functions on a regular basis. Gokulastami and Anokha are celebrated in a big way. Food stalls from outside hotels are brought inside the campus every two months. Inter and intra college/department/team sports activities are conducted every three to four months.

College with greenery and friendly environment with bad food.
Placements: The placement here are quite improved. The highest package offered was 9 Lacs and the lowest package was 2.75 Lacs. The average package offered was 4 Lacs. Companies like L&T, Amrita construction, Aaditya birla construction come here for recruitment. L&T even provides internship for the 4th, 6th, 7th and 8th sem students and some of them are aids as well. Also, amrita provides internship from 4th sem students in civil engineering.
Infrastructure: There is a whole big building for the Library and we can find almost all the books and textbooks in the library and even we can get the pdf in the amrita library system. The WiFi is quite average and sometimes bad in hostel but it works well in the labs and academic buildings. The classes are well ventilated and spacious and also every class have projectors for better learning. Labs are equipped with the advanced and new equipments also every required devices are there in the labs. There are many boys and girls hostel but we have to stay 4 people in one room upto 3rd year and it is mandatory and from 4th year we will be allotted with single room and there are international hostel for international Students with better facilities. The mess food is quite average some of the things served in the mess are good but some tastes too bad but overall it is eatable. There are 3 main canteens in every academic buildings and night canteens in every hostel. Canteen food is quite good. Doctors are available 24/7 and they are quite friendly and look professionals. No charge are taken for the medical check up. There are total 3 huge grounds in the university and many other sports arena, also there is sport complex where almost every sports can be played. There is olympic standard swimming pool which can be used by the students for Rs.40 per hour.
Faculty: Almost every teacher here is well qualified and holds a Ph.D. Degree. They are well experienced and are quite friendly except some. They teach very well and overall teaching quality of every teacher is good. Our course is integrated with the L& T, one of the biggest Construction company in India. This helps us to work with the industry and be industry ready. The exams are neither that hard nor easy, It checks the knowledge of someone and marks are also given on the basis of the knowledge check. Mostly everyone passed except some, we can say pass percentage is 92%.
Other: Civil engineers are the pillars of the society for the urbanization and sustainability. Mess food and hostel facilities can be improved. Events are frequently happening and you can easily get scholarship in Civil engineering.

Everything here is good except the mess.
Placements: Recently, about 85% of students were placed at our college. The highest salary package offered in civil engineering is 15 LPA, the average is 4 LPA, and the lowest is 2 LPA. The highest salary package is offered by L&T. L&T is the top recruiter for civil engineering as our college has a tie-up with it. Other companies like Amrita Construction, Aditya Birla, Abiba Company Pvt. Ltd., etc., visit here. I am currently studying in my 2nd year, and I got an internship under L&T, but it wasn't paid. We have also been offered free L&T courses from our department.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the labs and classrooms is good. The library is quite big and good. The hostel is not good. From first to third year, four people share a single room. In the fourth year, you will be allotted a single room. The food served here is fine. There are 3 canteens near academic blocks. All of them serve vegetarian food items except one, which serves eggs. There is one clinic where a doctor is available most of the time. Sports facilities are quite good and are available at every hostel nearby. The internet connection is not that good, but I heard that 5G routers are coming soon. The campus is green. There are trees everywhere.
Faculty: Teachers are quite good and polite, but some of them are rude. Teachers are well qualified. Most of them have master's degrees or Ph.Ds. The courses are comparable to those at IITs. They are updated every year. Exams are not that difficult, and the pass percentage is 95%.
Other: I belong to a family where my father has a small construction company, and my brother is also a civil engineer. I was also fascinated towards this field. I wish there were more practicals outside of campus as well, so we could make better memories with our friends. There are many cultural events and fests. The campus is not that crowded. We can see peacocks roaming. I am studying on a 100% scholarship. If you score average marks in AEE, you can also get a scholarship based on your marks.

It is the best college in Coimbatore.
Placements: Above 70% of the students got placed with the highest salary package of 10 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies of our college are L&T, ACC cement, Mu sigma, etc. The top role offered is a junior engineer, and internship opportunities are also good.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is excellent with the best department facilities. Wi-Fi facility is available on campus and hostel with digital library and smart classrooms. All labs have the best equipment, and the hostel is best with good food and facilities for staying. Medical facilities are also available on the campus.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful, and most of them are highly qualified with a PhD degree. Their theoretical and practical knowledge both are excellent, and the quality of teaching is very good. The course curriculum is very relevant and makes students industry-ready.

Food is not good, but remaining all are good.
Placements: Placements were not offered in core companies. However, during our batch of 70 members, almost 15-20 students were offered jobs in core companies with a salary package of 4.5 LPA by L&T. Almost 60% of the students got internships, and roles offered are site engineer and planning.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is up to date. We got Wi-Fi in our hostels which is good. Classrooms are comfortable, and we have a uniform with certain strict rules. The library is very good, and you will find every book. We have the best grounds and labs, and everything is up to date. The food here is horrible, but the breakfast is good.
Faculty: Teaching quality varies from time to time. There are certain teachers who are well-experienced, and we can understand their subject easily. Some staff members work hard and prepare before coming into the class. Some of them work hard, but they are unable to explain the doubts. Civil engineering students of 2015 batch got the best faculty members, and our HOD ma'am drove us with a lot of passion.
Other: Rules are a bit harsh at some points, but you will get to know a lot of cultures and a lot of people. Anokha fest is superb, which happens every year, and it is a national fest which is for three days.

Placements: Amrita University offers attractive placement opportunities, especially for engineering and management, in companies like Samsung, Ford, Amazon, Dell, Infosys, Blue D-ART Tata and so on. Placement Department aims to bridge the gap between academics and industry.
Infrastructure: Campus is well planned with infrastructure like academic buildings, administration wing, central library, hostels, guest house, staff quarters, shopping complex, swimming pool and play grounds. Eight hostels accomodated with 5000 students in our own campus.
Faculty: All undergraduate degree programs at Amrita are intended to provide students with strong core subject concepts and an application orientated undergraduate education. Objective is to prepare students for employment opportunities in the respective critically important and dynamic industry.

The infrastructure of the college is very good, it's 400 acres.
Placements: I did civil engineering, from my batch only 6 member got placed in core civil and some people got in to information technology companies like Accenture Wipro Infosys etc.
In civil engineering companies like L&T, SPCL and AMRITA construction will recruit .
Infrastructure: We have excellent central library with more than 3 Lacs books ! And also we have a full equipped lab with knowledgeable technicians.
We have a three canteens inside the campus, food will be very good in Amrita but only thing is it's a pure veg campus .
Faculty: We have a well experienced staff from IIT's and other top universities, Of course Amrita offers the very good experience to the students and it prepare the students for the industry.
Also the curriculum is very decent and it will be very useful for the students.
Other: Every year we have TECHNICAL FEAST called ANOKHA, it's sponsored by many top companies. And the campus crowd is around 9000-10000.

Amrita University Dept of civil engineering.
Placements: My seniors had the best placement, around 25 students were placed. The numbers started growing less for the upcoming batches as the Companies expect the engineer to be specialised in a particular field. It is best advisable to pursue higher studies. Anyways the faculty members will be the best guide for the students. It is pretty hard to tell about the placements as of yet, as most of the students prefer preparing themselves for higher studies rather than getting placed. A 30 to 40% placement is assured for each class.
Infrastructure: We have state of the art labs equipped with the latest technologies and the lab staffs are very much knowledgeable. The library gives you a serene feeling. On an average an Amrita student spends 1 hour per day at the library. Canteen food is not up-to the level, But is extremely clean. The hostel rooms are quiet spacious enough to accommodate two students per room.
Faculty: The teachers here are extremely qualified. They guide us in the best way possible. Around 75% of the faculty have a Ph.D. Both digital and classroom learning are used. A maximum of 60 students per class. The course curriculum is the best in Amrita. First year we went on an IV to ACC cement factory madukkarai. It was a good exposure for us. We were also taken to the Bangalore metro. Depending on the recommendation of the students, the department schedules the trip in the best possible way as to look after the safety of students.
Other: Amrita holds many events with respect to sports, and cultural. We also conduct one of India's the biggest tech fest events, Anokha which has students from all over India visiting us and participating. Scholarships are provided to students who ace their entrance exam which is a piece of cake. Surroundings is extremely friendly. As per your rank of 15125 your chances are nil to get any of the campuses of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University. Your rank should be at least below 6000 to get admission and yes to get a good course as well.
