Absolutely satisfied with the faculty and placements.
Placements: Almost 70% of students got placed in several structural design companies. The top package offered is 12 LPA, and the lowest package is 4.5 LPA. L&T and MVV constructions are the most recruiting companies. Almost 45% of students got internships in some Dubai companies. Structural, quality and design engineer roles are the top roles offered in our course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities in our department are good. We have a great library with books to learn and computers with Wi-Fi to surf the internet to learn new things. The classrooms are super ventilated and soundproof. Hotel rooms are good in our college, but the wardens are the worst, and the food is not so good.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified and experienced. They are very helpful and teach us in a way that we can understand better. The course curriculum is relevant and offers many opportunities to get into the industry. Semester exams are a bit tough because the papers are prepared in a way that students learn everything.
Other: I am interested in construction and design, so this course helps me understand the structure design better. I think it would be better to have some practicals as it helps us in the industry. AU is known for its fests, events and many extracurricular activities, like sports, NCC, NSS etc.

It's a good college with great professors but not helpful. Infrastructure is the worst.
Placements: Almost 61.1% of the students were placed. The highest salary package offered is 3.6 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 2.4 LPA and the average salary package offered is 3 LPA. PEBS Pennar and other local companies are the top recruiting companies of our college. Top roles offered to the students are site engineer and assistant designer. For M.Tech there will be no internship. There are no placements in Andhra University for our batch, and the ones who are placed are through off-campus. M.Tech is useful if you see for a teaching career.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is not that good. Hostels' infrastructure is poor, and the food served is also bad. Our friends used to eat outside most of the time. Medical facilities are better, but they not that good. Politics are involved in sports. The library is good. Washrooms are not at all hygienic.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are not at all helpful, but they are well-qualified and knowledgeable. This course curriculum is not relevant, and it does not makes students industry-ready. If teachers attend class, they are useful, but they are busy doing their works and earning extra money with the university tag.
Other: I have chosen this course since it's rewarding. The best thing about this course is the project. The first-year syllabus should be reviewed and should be changed. Department day is celebrated in our college.

It is the best college for joyful studying, but it should improve its faculty members and staff.
Placements: About 8% of the students got placements. The salary offered ranges from Rs. 18,000-25,000 per month. Only Infosys offered placements. Roles are offered in hydraulics and structures. In our course, the lowest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA is and the highest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. All students have done their internship in different companies like SSR, GHMC, etc.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are comfortable, and the Wi-Fi facility is available in the whole college. Labs have higher machines for doing experiments. Hostel facility is good for the lowest cost in living and food. The medical facility is also available for students for free of cost. Games are conducted yearly in the department.
Faculty: All teachers in our college are qualified in higher courses and well-knowledgeable. Few teachers are helpful for students. Their teaching skills are very good. Our course curriculum is relevant. After the completion of the course, there are many opportunities in other side companies. Overall, it is the best college.
Other: I have chosen this course because I like civil engineering for the development of construction in simple ways. The best thing in our course is we can easily know about the survey on road and bridge construction. The college should improve some lab equipment for the future base. Every year our college conducts events and extracurricular activities like workshops.
