Review of APS College of Engineering.
Placements: 70 to 85% of students got placed, including all branches. 9 LPA is the highest package offered, and the lowest package is 3.5 lacs per annum. Bosch, IBM, Prestige, Infosys and many top companies come here to select students. Manager is the highest role offered by the companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is a bit okay, but the hostel is not at all good. The food is the worst. Facilities are bad. The library is good. The classrooms are good. Labs are good to conduct all the experiments. I don't know about medical facilities. They encourage us in sports.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, and we can ask them any time for help. If we do not understand the lesson, they will teach again whenever we ask them. Their teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant. They make students ready for the industry and real world.
Other: After my 12th, I was a bit confused, and I decided to choose marine structure. But I joined civil engineering because I thought civil engineering would be interesting. Our college is old, but it will celebrate all the fests. The campus is good. They provide scholarships.

It is good college, but not the best of all colleges.
Placements: The placements for our batch is not started. But for our senior batch it is good, but not the best. The highest salary offered is Rs. 60,000 per month, the lowest salary offered is Rs. 20,000 per month and the average salary offered is Rs. 30,000 per month. The companies like Wipro, HP, and many others companies were visiting during the day of placements. Good roles are offered to the students. The placement cell is provided. It is efficient and useful.
Infrastructure: The facilities like the labs, classrooms, library, and sports are good. But good medical facilities are not available. The quality of the labs and classrooms are good. There is a good quality of food available in the canteen. The hostel rooms are not good. The fees are more for hostels.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching qualities of the lectures are good. They use the good teaching methods. Our college arranges the industry exposure. The course curriculum useful.
Other: The events and fests are usually carried out in the college. The campus of the college is good but not better. They have good facilities for the student's scholarship.

Good for IT departments like CS, IS, ECE and TCE but not good for civil and mechanical streams.
Placements: For civil engineering, placements were zero. No construction company visited our college neither any of the civil students were placed by the placement cell of the college. I would request to civil and mechanical aspirants that if you are looking for placements immediately after your degree, then this is not a right college for you.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. Mechanical and Civil blocks are the new ones, with spacious classrooms and laboratories. Both streams have separate seminar halls on their respective floors. Wi-Fi facility is available. The library has a good number of books. There are indoor games available. The food quality is good in the canteen but in the hostel, it is bad. They provide food which cannot be eaten by a north Indian student. Besides, chapatis are not good. It is better to reside in a separate pg outside the college. The hostel rooms were of two types - new block and old block. The new block is good but one cannot live in the old block.
Faculty: The faculty for civil engineering is not good. While there are some exceptional teachers in the department, including HOD Sir and a few others, the rest of the faculty members do not know anything besides the bookish knowledge. The teaching methods are not up to the mark. We didn't get any industry experience. The course curriculum is out of date and does not match with the current industry standards.
Other: Overall, the college is good for CS, EC and IT but civil and mechanical streams are not doing good. I advice civil and mechanical aspirants to avoid this college but for IT aspirants this college is quite good. The college needs to improve in certain sections including placements, hostel, food, and other amenities like gym, Wi-Fi, ATM, stationary etc.
