Value for money college for students of West Bengal.
Placements: Nice placement with good packages with options from too many recruiters. Don't know about other courses, but placement for CSE in B.Tech is very good. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Accenture, and Cognizant are the top recruiters. The training and placement cell works very hard to train the students.
Infrastructure: Labs are good with air-conditioners. Classrooms are spacious. All equipped with smart boards. The full campus is Wi-Fi enabled and has a huge playground and nice basketball field, top-class machines are installed in the laboratories, and flipped classes are also available.
Faculty: Faculty members are good, knowledgeable, and friendly with students, except for a few professors. Support the students in whatever possible ways they can and encourage students to take part in activities held in college and outside the college, and can be contacted anytime needed.

Decent infrastructure and campus, but faculty members support and placements need improvement.
Placements: The percentage of students placed in our course in computer science and engineering is 90%. The highest package is 29 LPA, lowest package is 3 LPA, and the average package offered in our course is 3.5 LPA. 35 to 40% of students got internships from our course at companies like TCS Ninja and TCS Prime. At Asansol Engineering College, top recruiting companies are TCS Ninja, TCS Prime, Accenture, EY, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available to our force and departments are neither too good nor too bad. Wi-Fi is good. Labs, classrooms, and libraries are not too good in the computer science and engineering department because they are so old and not maintaining. Winner hostel mess and canteen are okay, not too good and not too bad.
Faculty: Department teachers are too much helpful, kind in nature, more qualified, and have more extra curriculum teaching in our syllabus. The students makes industry-ready. The semester exam in this college is moderate, not too much easy and not too much hard. The pass percentage is 5.5 SCGPA.
Other: At Asansol Engineering College, it has one of the best courses. The best thing in our force is IEEE chapters membership. The lab and classrooms would be improved for our course. The event, fest, campus crowd, connectivity, campus surroundings, scholarship, and extracurricular activities are too much good than other colleges.

Asansol Engineering College review in short and crisp form.
Placements: Placements at my college are average. Mass recruitment is done earlier on a high basis. But nowadays that also gets reduced. Only skillful students who are strong with DSA machine learning, etc., get placed. The percentage of placements in my department I. e. in computer science and engineering is 40%.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my college is good. They keep the campus clean. The authority keeps an eye if the workers are doing their jobs good or not. But they keep more concern during NAAC visits. They'll properly cut and maintain the garden. They clean the ground. There are 3 boys' hostels and 2 girls' hostels. The condition is average. It depends on students on how they keep it. The internet speed provided by Wi-Fi is good. The bathrooms are cleaned on a regular basis. The power supply is good. The water that is supplied is clean and safe for drinking.
Faculty: The faculty or professors or teachers are good. They guide you where you get stuck. If someone is working on any project, they'll help you with that. They provide you with information and highly valuable skillful seniors for help. They are supportive and good in nature. Exams are divided into 4 terms of 25 marks each. The first one is that you've to create a PPT on a particular topic and have to submit it in the given time. Then secondly, you've to write an assignment and submit it. The third one is you've to give a pen-paper exam of 1 hour.
Other: I chose this course because I have great passion and love for computer from child only. I chose this course to get knowledge in more detail. The things that can be done better are classroom conditions, syllabus, ways of teaching, and old computers in labs which have been used for decades. The college conducts a fest every year. There are also various clubs for different activities which provide a platform to show your skills.

My college is very good, it has a good faculty and good placement.
Placements: Each year, approximately 80% of students are placed in companies. The highest package is approximately 15 LPA, the average is 5 LPA, and the lowest is 3.5 LPA. Top recruiters include TCS, Accenture, Wipro, IBM, and many others. Around 60% of students secure internships from our course with companies like 1M and Virtusa. Top roles include data analyst, data scientist, and full-stack web developer.
Infrastructure: Hostels are also very good. They have a good infrastructure and facilities around the campus. The facilities include free Wi-Fi, many labs for GD sessions, galleries, and a big library which has a minimum of 65,000 books. There are many other facilities like medical facilities, a gym, a canteen with delicious food, and a big playground around our campus.
Faculty: Our teachers are very helpful and friendly with us. They all have Ph.D. degrees and teach us very fluently, giving us the best knowledge. It makes us students industry-ready. Basically, it's a hard question. From my point of view, semester exams are difficult. The passing score is 40%.
Other: I chose this course for better placement and to enhance my qualifications. The best thing about my course is that it is very helpful to this generation. If any AI topics were added, then it would be even better. Each year, a fest is held on campus, and a lot of students participate, there are also many scholars among those who have good scores in exams.

Average with decent placement. If you have knowledge you can get a decent placement.
Placements: Basically, our college has average placement opportunities. Those who really do well and are always involved in their upskilling get a decent placement opportunity. So, being in a tier 3 college, you need to upskill yourself for getting a decent placement.
Infrastructure: Our college has good infrastructure when we talk about colleges in West Bengal. Talking about infrastructure, of course, it has an average infrastructure, and the hostel is good with Wi-Fi facilities and proper security for students.
Faculty: Teachers here are knowledgeable, but you can only get knowledge if you want to or if you are eager to know things from them. Then they will be very helpful. Regarding industry readiness, no, you don't get that much exposure. All you need to do is do everything yourself.
Other: So as all of us know CSE is the most trending branch and most overrated department.

With this rank 62727, I think you should go for CSE in ASEC. ASEC is a decent college for CSE with decent faculty and placements. It is much better than Asansol and I am sure about it.
Now if you think of going for higher studies you can join AEC but do remember ASEC will have the proximity of Kolk
