Review of Assam Engineering College.
Placements: In our course, there are a total of 30 students, of which 4 have been placed from the MCA batch (2021-23) so far. The highest salary package offered is 8.1 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA and the average salary package offered is 4.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Cognizant, TCS, etc., visit our campus. The internship period has not yet started. Top roles offered are software engineer, trainee, iOS developer, full stack developer, etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi browsing speed is slow on our campus. It is required to get a better internet connection throughout the campus. Computers in the lab are of low configuration, but they get the job done. Expediency on personal laptops is much more recommended. Classrooms are average and the library facilities are good.
Faculty: Teachers are very good and competent. MCA course duration has been updated from 3 years to 2 years, and therefore, a lot of subjects and fields are given within the same semester. So, a correction in the course layout is very much required. Semester exams are moderately difficult. If one studies properly, a score of more than 9 is easily attainable.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to level up my coding skills and improve my CS knowledge. Majors could be useful for students to focus on a particular profession. Lots of events are organised and you will not be disappointed if you are interested in extracurricular activities.

Infrastructure and the environment of Assam engineering college is always welcoming.
Placements: Minimum percentage required to get placement : 65%
packages: 3-4 Lacs per annum
companies visited: Zaloni, TCS
for internship student must acquire min of 60- 70%
student got placed in IT Sectors, Engineers, developers. Yes we do have a training and placement cell.
Infrastructure: The college has total campus area aroung 400 acres. This includes quarters for employees, hostels for students, gymnasium, post office, canteen, state bank of india with atm facility, book stall, etc. The college also has a central computing center which provides 24/7 Wi-Fi access around the campus.
Faculty: Faculty members in aec are inducted thorough a process of open advertisement around the country. Courses includes Bachelor in Engineering in mechanical, electrical, computer Science, civil, etc. PG courses Such as Master of computer application are also available.

Assam Engineering College, Guwahati, Assam.
Placements: Many students were placed in my batch as well as senior batches. Good amount of companies came for placement drive including TCS, Accenture, Zaloni, Capgemini, etc., among others from the month of September to December. The salary offered was around 3.5 lacs per annum.
Infrastructure: The college campus was not Wi-Fi enabled everywhere, but in certain places like training and placement cells etc., was Wi-Fi enabled. The classrooms were maintained properly with the projector and screen. The labs were pretty awesome with all the systems functioning.
Faculty: The faculty members were good. They were very helpful in every way possible. Their guidance was nice. They were knowledgeable. They are highly experienced, and few professors were done their PhD from IITs. The student to faculty ratio was somewhat like 25:1 for one subject.
Other: Events and yearly fests, as well as, sports and extracurricular activities like excursion and all were organised very nicely.

The college is an old and prestigious, where the faculty members are good.
Placements: The placement is not up to the mark. Some of them get placed but not all. Every year, the placement scenario is different. If we try hard, you can manage to get a job in the placement. Not many but a few company come and offer the jobs. TCS and such company most of the time visit for the mass recruitment. Overall, it is average, and I will rate 5 out of 10.
Infrastructure: Assam Engineering College has a big campus. It has seven boys hostel, one girls hostel and 1 PG hostel. Overall, the infrastructure is good. Many new buildings were made, but the old building is still there. There is a market nearby. A little maintenance is required.
Faculty: The faculty members are highly qualified, good, and supportive. Many activities take place every month among the faculty and student to strengthen the bond between them. The course is of 3 years divided into six semesters.

I am absolutely satisfied because of the course and placements provided here.
Placements: Almost 85% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered was 4.8 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 1.2 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course were NIC, Infosys and Wipro. Almost 90% of the students got internships from our course. Top roles like data analyst and programmer are offered here.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are very good in our college. Departments have well-maintained labs, classrooms and a library. The quality of the hostel is good, and the food served in the canteen and mess is delicious. The medical facility is good, and sports and games facilities are also available.
Faculty: Teachers here are very helpful and guide students very well. Their teaching quality is also good, and they are very knowledgeable. They clear doubts whenever we request them. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready.
Other: I have chosen this course because it is very interesting. You get to learn more about computers and computer language. In future, you can pursue M.Tech also.
