Good for B.Sc. and B.Com. Don't expect job placements. Campus and social life is way better.
Placements: Asutosh College doesn't provide any kind of in campus placements. But it does have placement cells where one can get advice on placements. No company or organisation visit this college for requirements. No system of internship is provided by the college, one has to find their own internships. There are no field trips or industry trips in this subject of Microbiology. Other subjects like Botany and Geography have these facilities.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is present but with negligible and poor speed. Classrooms are pretty clean and airy. Few has got ACs installed in them. Library is well stocked with books, reading room is quite and the ambiance is perfect for studying. Labs are good but lacks instruments due to low availability of funds. Since the instruments are less in number not all can use them single handed.
Faculty: Teachers are good and helpful. Teaching quality is nice too but sometimes they can be really uncooperative. No industry exposure was provided to us as the student to faculty ratio was way high than normal. Course curriculum was not at all useful. A student has to study on his own at home to crack entrance exams. No help or cooperation is received from the faculty. They even refuses to give recommendation letter to those who gets selected in reputed institutions for Masters.
Other: It's a cultural college so there is no absence of function or fests. College arranges cooking competition, sports competitions drawing competitions, etc. At the end of the year they host a very big fear where reputed celebrities come and cheer the ambiance. They have their own ASL ( Asutosh Soccer League) and APL (Asutosh Premier League). .

Really good infrastructure and faculty.
Placements: Placements and internships are very common. Good top pharma companies come for the interviews. The highest salary offered is 20000 and the lowest is 5000. Roles were mainly as analysts and coding jobs. Placement cell though is not Very useful. 20% people opted for jobs other 80% went for further studies as in Masters.
Infrastructure: Laboratories are well equipped with modern infrastructure classrooms have air conditioning library has all the necessary books and journals. Classrooms are spacious. With tables and chairs. Medical facilities are also good. Hostel rooms for both boys and girls are provided which are not very far from the college.
Faculty: Faculty is top class. They teach you all the basics including theory and practical applications which help your Masters course and further higher studies. Teachers are either from chemistry or biochemistry background. Who are very efficient and have sound knowledge of the subjects they teach. The practical sessions are very helpful for Bachelors, Masters and higher studies. They attend each student with equal attention so that everybody learns properly. Very satisfied with the teachers.

Review of Asutosh College.
Placements: There are around 80 students in our class. For admission, students who got around 80% are taken to the college through portals. Well-established compulsory internships are provided by the board of directors which is Calcutta University.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is well built. There are well-built labs in our department with an adequate amount of resources. There are common rooms in the college for students to spend time in. There is a gymnasium which students can access for little time and no money.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. They teach us everything we need to study for our exams as exams are quite difficult. They provide us with handwritten notes, notes, and PPTs. They take extra classes if any students have problems or doubts. It is really helpful for students.

We had practicals almost every day which helped us to get hands-on experiences.
Placements: Placement opportunities are not yet available at Asutosh College in the Department of Microbiology. I'm not sure about the other departments but our professors are planning something for the future. Professors are arranging alumni meets where they are trying to connect with different alumni from different parts of the world. This would help to create a placement cell in the future.
Infrastructure: Well-maintained laboratories with specialized equipment and air-conditioned classrooms. The main building has been renovated.
College canteen is good . Food quality is great and biryani is available as well. I'm not sure about the hostel because my home is in Kolkata. Some of my batchmates stayed in hostels. As far as I know, hostel facilities are not bad and the quality of food is better than the other places. At Asutosh College, there are two libraries one is in the main building and other one in the annex (ACTC). In the library, a wide range of books are available.
Faculty: Teachers are extremely helpful and they are always available to clear doubts and other problems related to the subject. They are well-qualified and knowledgeable. Semester exams are not difficult if someone starts studying from the beginning. But one needs to have in-depth knowledge regarding the topic in order to deal with analytical questions. College conducts internal exams usually one month before the semester.
Other: Department of Microbiology is one the best departments at Asutosh College. I chose this subject because I had a profound interest to know more about the microbial world as well as the diseases related to it. There's always something happening at Asutosh College with a lot of events throughout the year. Extracurricular activities are also available but they aren't compulsory. If anyone wants to join, they can.

I am satisfied with the faculty members and infrastructure.
Placements: There is no placement cell in our college. TCS company visited our campus and offered BPO jobs. The average salary package offered was Rs. 10,000 per month. Maybe 1% of student applied for placements. The college does not provide an internship for students. Placements cell is not useful at all for the students of the college.
Infrastructure: The college provides facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, a library, and medical facilities. Football and cricket matches are organised yearly. Lab facilities were good. A canteen was available, but it was far from the Annex building. Hostel rooms are decent. I did not face any infrastructure related issue during my tenure at the college.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are qualified, knowledgeable, helpful and student-friendly. They use electronic media like powerpoint and conventional methods to teach students in the class. There are 4 permanent faculty members, and rest are guest lecturers, and they are teaching for all three-year students.
Other: Fest organised by the college are good. The campus surroundings are good.
