According to me, this is the best college.

Placements: The placements were very good, and many of my seniors got their jobs through this. The interview helps us to overcome our fears which we shall face in our future interviews. The companies which came were very well reputed, and they were among the best companies in the state. The salary which they offered was very reasonable and well satisfied.

Infrastructure: The campus has a library, WiFi facility, labs, well-established and classrooms. Some medical facilities are also available. Every year, the college holds sports and many extracurricular activities. Thies college also has the hostel facilities. This college has two campuses. Within the tenure, I haven't faced any problem regarding the infrastructure of the college.

Faculty: The faculty of our department is very good. The teachers are very frank, and they help us out with every problem that we face. Our department arranges the field work by which we get to learn more about the things that we study. During the field work, the teachers are very caring and very responsible.

Other: Professors are very approachable. It has one of Kolkata's best Faculty Members. Attending classes has become compulsory now, especially for the students of Honors courses. The Professors help you with the projects, hence it becomes easier. However, apart from studies, curriculum activities are not very active. Politics rule the college. It provides admission to students with very high percentage, hence the academics are quite focused.

Candidates who has passed the 10+2 or its equivalent examination is eligible to apply provided he/she has also passed in English having full marks not being less than 100. No candidate shall be allowed for admission after a lapse of more than 3 years from the year of passing the previous qualifying examination or discontinuation of recognized regular Course of Study after passing the previous qualifying examination. For the purpose of determining eligibility for admission to the Honours Course, aggregate marks shall be calculated by adding the marks in top-four subjects in order of marks secured by a candidate. However, marks in compulsory Environmental Education /Studies shall not be taken into account for calculation of aggregate marks. Candidate must have aggregate: 50%, and Passed in Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics However, Candidates belonging to the SC/ ST or OBC Community must have obtained a minimum of 40% marks in the aggregate at the previous qualifying examination.
