I am satisfied with the developed infrastructure and facilities provided by the college.

Placements: I think about 70-80% of the students get placed. Many companies visit our college to hire students. The average salary package offered in each branch is great.

Infrastructure: The library is the most beautiful place where you can use any source, from hard copies to computerised systems. Classrooms and labs could be better than what it is now. The hostels are much better. You get a bathroom and balcony attached to each room.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful, qualified, polite and knowledgeable. They are dedicated to their responsibility and profession. The course curriculum is pretty easy, and that helps us in the examination as well. Semesters exams should be a bit easier.

Review of Konark Institute of Science and Technology (KIST).

Placements: Placements in our college were average. If someone wants to work in an average company, then they can definitely go for it. Companies offer a decent salary package for students. You can excel in the field which you want to explore. Our college also provides pre-placement training before placement season.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Our college provides facilities like a well-maintained library and clean and hygienic food. Here you will find a small cafeteria. The hostel is very good with attached bathrooms and separate blocks for both boys and girls. The hostel is also equipped with broadband service. Labs are well-equipped with all the facilities.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are good. Some teachers are highly experienced, and some teachers are new. Classes are conducted by HOD, which will inspire you and make you feel motivated. You will definitely notice the change, and difference once you passed out from this college.

Other: I spent 4 years here, and I found that it is a good place to grow. You will definitely learn here if you are serious about your career. Our college organises an annual event named Utopia, and you will really enjoy the environment.

A brief overview to kist-bbsr (bput-Odisha).

Placements: I passed out in 2014 and I was in electrical branch. Placement was not so good in that year especially in electrical branch. Rare students get placed in that year in my branch. It was not upto the mark for that particular year in the mentioned branch.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is really good. We have good class room for all 8 semesters. Good laboratories was there with proper equipment and lab assistant. Practical paper was conducted in a professional manner in all semester and trainers helped us to have proper knowledge.

Faculty: Faculty was really good and helped to learn the therotical knowledge through out all semesters in B.Tech. Curriculum was prescribed by bput at University level which was upto the mark and good. One student can have max knowledge from the curriculum in all semesters.

Other: Scholarships were there for sc/St)OBC candidate as per government of Odisha and yearly events were there like cultural event and sports of event.

This college didn't give me what I need.

Placements: Placement isn't good here. There is also fake placement going on. Placement is only for software job and marketing, not for any electrical or mechanical engineer. Some of my friends returned from the workplace due to the bad placement. Placement department is not improvised.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good here. All types of basic lab instruments are available here. But teaching quality in the laboratory is not much good. Only theory is given, but the actual lab work is not much good. All types of instruments are available, but the teachers are not so advanced to give you a detailed description of working in the lab.

Faculty: Faculty are not so advance here. 40% faculty have good knowledge, but others are not much good. Teaching standards are also not improved. Teachers are more theory oriented. Some are not M.Tech holders and are teaching us. They are just pass out students of our college.

The college was very nice.

Placements: The placement of the college is average. The college has good placement for information technology, computer science and electronics branches. The companies which come for recruitment are well-reputed and software companies. They mostly come for the post of assistant engineer. We hope that placements will be improved in the future.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is nice. There are all the basic amenities like good spacious classrooms, hygienic food and water. Cleanliness is maintained at the best. The college has a library with over 10000+ books and a cafe which serves good food.

Faculty: The faculty members are very nice. They helped us in academics, sports, co-curricular activities, projects, training and placements. They are very supportive and caring. The course followed in our college was according to the university, so the course was updated by university whenever required.

Other: Good college. It has very good campus. Best branch to study is electrical engineering. There is a systematic procedure of studying. The faculty members are very friendly. And it has a library which has 2500 books. It has a workshop with all important machines. It has a campus of 30 acres. It has a canteen. It is near Techonpark in Bhubaneswar.

A good college with a comprehensive package.

Placements: Placement was good of our batch and our seniors batch. 70% students were placed. The highest salary was 8LPA. Companies like Sutherland, TCS, Infosys, HCL and other companies has done recruitment. 90% students had done internship. There is a placement cell which is very useful.

Infrastructure: Good quality labs and classrooms. Wi-Fi all over the college and hostel. Ambulance and fast aid facilities are available. Good quality of food is given in the canteen. Hostel rooms are also neat and clean. No I don't face any infrastructure-related issues.

Faculty: Teachers were very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality was very good. Students to faculty ratio was 20:1. They gave industry exposure. It was very useful. Extra technical courses and preplacement training was also given. Lab practicals were very good.

Other: Other events like techfest cricket match other sports and annual function cultural programs were also done.
