Really good infrastructure with good faculty and the training and placement.

Placements: Business Development Associate, Assistant Software Developer, Data Analyst and some of the students are placed in the BPO and marketing sector as a financial manager. Overall almost 70% students get placed before appearing the final year examinations, Byjus, Cognizant, CapGemini, TCS, Tech Mahindra, L&T, Siemens are some of the recruiters.

Infrastructure: All the latest facilities with hot water bath, separate washrooms and 24 hr security with good quality mess food and clean and hygienic washrooms and balcony in which one could have a walk through the corridors and a healthy relationship is maintained.

Faculty: The guarding here is very strict and there is cut throat competition to score good marks and you have to study and attend the classes regularly as it would help in better understanding the subject matter and apart from these there are well-equipped laboratories.

Other: Magnus is held every year as the cultural fest and merit based scholarship is provided to the needy students who score more than 85%.

Review of Budge Budge Institute of Technology.

Placements: The placement rate of our course is 50%, but the placement rate of ECE and CSE branches is above 70%. The highest salary package offered here was 7.2 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 2.5 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 4 LPA. This information was based on the 2020 pass out batch. Top recruiting companies here are Pinnacle, Capgemini, TCS, Wipro, etc. Approximately 20% of students got internships from here.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the main institution is really good. Labs are well furnished and equipped with all the necessary equipment. Free Wi-Fi is not available, but paid Wi-Fi is available in the hostel. There are thousands of books in the library, but most of the books are of an older edition. The hostel and canteen are average. Washrooms of the hostel are unhygienic. Most of the food items served in the canteen are non-vegetarian. So, it can be a problem for vegetarian students.

Faculty: Faculty members are average here. Most of them don't have industrial experience. They just want to complete the semester syllabus, and their teaching quality is not good at all. The course curriculum is relevant for competitive exams like GATE, DRDO, ISRO, etc. But it does not make students industry-ready.

Other: I chose this course because I wanted to do a government job. I think most of the PSUs and other government sectors need a huge number of mechanical engineers. There should be more practical knowledge instead of just theoretical knowledge. This college is connected through the Indian railway network. Only one scholarship will be approved by this college.
