Placements: In my college, the placement rate is nearly 60%. The highest package one student in the previous year got was 8 Lacs. The average package is 3-4 Lacs. Tech Mahindra, Tejas Network, Hitachi, Vedantu, and Byju's are the companies for our placement in my course. Our college provides internships. In my class, 40% of students are getting internships.
Infrastructure: Our facilities and infrastructure are good. So much organized everything. In the library, there are so many books related to our course and also current affairs and stories books. The canteen is maintained beautifully. I like most facilities available in sports and games. We have the privilege to have a gym and swimming pool with trainers.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. They always want to give their time to us. Our semester is happening in a gap of 6 months. Before semester, there are 4 CAs and 2 Vivas. The CAs are very helpful to increase our performance in the semester. Semester exams are a little hard, but if we study hard, then we will get full marks.

Most honest review of BBIT by a hosteller.
Placements: The percentage of students who got placements differs from batch to batch but on average, about 60% of students are getting placed in mechanical engineering but unfortunately not in core companies. Most of them are getting into software and IT, and pupils are getting into non-tech like sales, marketing, and customer support. The highest salary package offered by on-campus drives is between 4 LPA - 4.5 LPA in our course and the lowest salary package offered is 1 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, Byjus, JSW Cement, L&T Infotech, Asahi India Glass Ltd, etc. Approximately 20% of students are actively doing internships in the 2nd year and 3rd year of college. The rest of the students try to do at least 1 internship before passing out. Students are doing internships at ONGC Ltd., TCS, Royal Enfield, and various startups. The top roles offered in our course are junior engineer trainee, sales executive, customer support executive, junior developer trainee, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure-wise, BBIT is quite lagging behind in comparison to other campuses. Wi-Fi is not available. Labs are good but not the best. The classrooms are classic with blackboards and benches but some classrooms are smartly equipped with computers and projectors but not all (most of them). The library has a good environment for study and most of the books are available but there is Wi-Fi with a data limit of 30 Mb per student a day. The hostel is good at sanitary systems but the water is very harsh for your hair. I faced extreme hair fall due to water in my 1st year and hygiene is average. Food is not good as in other hostels around Indian colleges. The food served is too oily and spicy. Medical facilities are good because there is a hospital just 200 m away from BBIT. There is a 24*7 ambulance for your service. Sports and games are one of the best things in BBIT. You will just be overwhelmed to view the number of cultural and sports events being organised every year. You just can't see even a single day when students aren't preparing for an event or tournament. Some famous tournaments or events are Magnus Festa, Gulabi Debi inter-college, football and cricket tournament, hostel premier league, tech fest, etc.
Faculty: In our college, the teachers are quite helpful and well-qualified. They try to guide students to a good all time. The curriculum is not relevant to make our students industry-ready but it's a fault of our syllabus, not the college. So you have to rely on self learning. Semester papers are easy to pass but hard to score well and approximately 80% of students pass the exams.
Other: I chose it because I wanted to be in the automotive industry. The syllabus and course structure could be better about relevance and industry standards. The campus life is very good and engaging in BBIT bus connectivity is also good. The campus is surrounded by an empty field and very underdeveloped shops. The scholarship is not provided you need to research it on your own and extracurricular activities are quite limited to practice.

It's a good college, but not all teachers are good at teaching.
Placements: We have 102 students in B.Tech 3rd year mechanical engineering. Here, the highest package offered is 25 Lacs per annum but only in CSE because they have coding and computer-related subjects. But for the mechanical branch, core companies come here which are good but not like coding in terms of salary.
Infrastructure: Hostels are good. There are separate hostels for boys and girls. There is also a separate hostel for faculty members. We have a pool, football ground, cricket ground and also a gym on our campus. We have a basketball court, volleyball ground and proper equipment to play.
Faculty: The faculty members are average. But they should use more interesting teaching methods. None of them are too good or too bad. Just some of them don't know how to teach students as they'll understand easily. One thing I want to request college is that we need more practical and lab classes because we need to know how the engines work properly, as we are mechanical engineers.
Other: I love engines, that's why I chose this stream.

Really good infrastructure with good faculty and the training and placement.
Placements: Business Development Associate, Assistant Software Developer, Data Analyst and some of the students are placed in the BPO and marketing sector as a financial manager. Overall almost 70% students get placed before appearing the final year examinations, Byjus, Cognizant, CapGemini, TCS, Tech Mahindra, L&T, Siemens are some of the recruiters.
Infrastructure: All the latest facilities with hot water bath, separate washrooms and 24 hr security with good quality mess food and clean and hygienic washrooms and balcony in which one could have a walk through the corridors and a healthy relationship is maintained.
Faculty: The guarding here is very strict and there is cut throat competition to score good marks and you have to study and attend the classes regularly as it would help in better understanding the subject matter and apart from these there are well-equipped laboratories.
Other: Magnus is held every year as the cultural fest and merit based scholarship is provided to the needy students who score more than 85%.

Review of Budge Budge Institute of Technology.
Placements: The placement rate of our course is 50%, but the placement rate of ECE and CSE branches is above 70%. The highest salary package offered here was 7.2 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 2.5 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 4 LPA. This information was based on the 2020 pass out batch. Top recruiting companies here are Pinnacle, Capgemini, TCS, Wipro, etc. Approximately 20% of students got internships from here.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the main institution is really good. Labs are well furnished and equipped with all the necessary equipment. Free Wi-Fi is not available, but paid Wi-Fi is available in the hostel. There are thousands of books in the library, but most of the books are of an older edition. The hostel and canteen are average. Washrooms of the hostel are unhygienic. Most of the food items served in the canteen are non-vegetarian. So, it can be a problem for vegetarian students.
Faculty: Faculty members are average here. Most of them don't have industrial experience. They just want to complete the semester syllabus, and their teaching quality is not good at all. The course curriculum is relevant for competitive exams like GATE, DRDO, ISRO, etc. But it does not make students industry-ready.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to do a government job. I think most of the PSUs and other government sectors need a huge number of mechanical engineers. There should be more practical knowledge instead of just theoretical knowledge. This college is connected through the Indian railway network. Only one scholarship will be approved by this college.
