Review of CMR Engineering College, CMR Group of Institutions.
Placements: Our batch consists of almost 240 students and 180 students are placed in different companies. The students who have backlogs and are irregular with their academics are not made it into placements. The students who are regular with their academics are placed. Around 75% of students are not a small one because the majority of the mechanical students are placed in software companies. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA, and the lowest salary pacakge offered is 2.5 LPA. Companies like Tech Mahindra, Infosys, Byjus, TCS, and Accenture are some of the top recruiting companies. Around 80% of students get internships in the companies like Google, Flipkart, Amazon, etc., for 1 year. The students who are in this are those who are enthusiastic. Being from a mechanical background, the roles that are offered are managerial and technical kind, with the knowledge and skill students can easily fulfill their role and can give their best.
Infrastructure: This college has 3 main blocks. The first one is being the administrative block on its ground floor, and the remaining floors are dedicated to the fresher students from all the branches. The first block is of 4 floors. This separation completely eradicated the culture of ragging. The remaining blocks are mechanical blocks for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th-year students, and it is 3 story building. The ground floor is dedicated to CAD cam laboratory and lecturers and HODs cabin. The remaining floors are classrooms for the students. Similarly, all other blocks are dedicated to the other branches like ECE, CSE, EEE, and IT. The laboratories are situated in their respective blocks for mechanical. All the laboratories are specified in the circullum. The entire campus is situated on 100 acres with a large playground, central library, and an auditorium.
Faculty: Faculty members are good in this college. The teaching quality is better than the previous years. Most of the faculty members are experienced and all are M.Tech and graduates and some of them are doctors also. The course and curriculum are in line with the guidelines from the OU and AICTE. The teaching pattern along with the student's efforts make the student industry-ready. Semester exams are tough for everyone. Satisfying the examination board requires more effort than previous classes or courses. It can be possible only when the students understand the concept rather than mugging it up just like that. The pass percentage is above 70%, and note that it is largely dependent on student effort more than the teacher's effort.
Other: I love to be a mechanical engineer which almost forms the base of the other engineering branches. The concept of engineering started from the mechanisms and mechanical techniques. The curriculum should have been reduced to some extent. The syllabus is vast and mighty. Some topics are outdated also. A variety of the events and tech fests like Hackathon are held in this college. The annual celebrations are good. Generally, these annual celebrations are graced by various celebs. These fests are generally hosted at the CMR auditorium which is large enough to accommodate 3000 members. The college is located beside the ORR between Kandla Koya and Medchal. Students can use their vehicle or can use the services of TSRTC. There are generally the buses which are in line with the college timings. The campus is surrounded by the other campuses of the CMR group, and students can make friends with the other campus students also. The students who clear ECET with below 1000 integrated rank can get full fee reimbursement, and those who don't clear and qualify in the ECET will get a fee reimbursement of Rs 35,000. The sports are very rich in their culture on the campus, and the quality of the players is good. There is a sports room where students can get all the sports equipment, and there is also a gym and all these can be used for free.

I am satisfied with the college, good infrastructure and management.
Placements: Almost 50-90% of the students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 25-15 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 8.5 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 10 LPA. Top recruiting companies of our college are Accenture, Byju's, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, Tech IT Solutions, Capgemini, Wipro and stuMagz. Almost 60% of the students got internships in Internshala, TASK and TalentSprint. Our college offers courses like mechanical, CSE, ECE and IT.
Infrastructure: Everything is good in our college like Wi-Fi, library, classroom and labs. The canteen food is good, and sports facilities are very good by our PET sir. Hostel facilities are very good for students, and the mess food is perfect as they provide good protein food. Overall, the facilities are good.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, and they are up to their qualification level to teach students. They are well-knowledgeable, and their teaching is very good. The curriculum is much relevant, and students are always ready for the industry. Faculty members are very friendly and helpful. Semester exams are very easy as our faculty members explain every topic neat and clear, and the pass percentage is 80%.

Absolutely satisfied by my college.
Placements: The placements in the college are good, but they are more for the IT and the CSE branches. All the students who don't have backlogs are eligible for the placements, and many seniors had also got the placements. There will be very good learning from the teachers and they also instruct us all about the interviews and placements. Also instructing us on how to be in the presence of them, and to maintain the discipline.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is excellent, and it also has a big central library, in which we also have a digital library. Our campus is also very large with all the well-equipped labs with no faults in the college. There are excellent labs with an experienced lab faculty.
Faculty: There very good in helping students and are very highly graduated teachers. They also help us and interact with us in a playful and a friendly manner. We also earn more knowledge from our faculty. And about the course, it was awesome and interesting. About the machines, there were good instructors in our college to teach its operations.
Other: Many events are also conducted to prove our self. Also, we have an SAE team in our college who is very good and creating new designs of the car for the competition. We also have an annual day, a freshers day and fests every year where we enjoy a lot. Also, our campus is a co-ed where all boys and girls are combined in class. We also help each other in studies.

It is a good college, and students can take admission to this college.
Placements: Students will get placed in the 3rd year, and they also get internships offers. The highest salary package offered is 44 LPA by Amazon. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA. All students are placed, but they do not have any backlogs. Every year our college is providing good placements, and salary packages are better. The top recruiting companies are Amazon, Google, and TCS. Students are placed from all branches.
Infrastructure: I would suggest students to join private hostels to enjoy themselves with friends. Transportation is not good. Hostel facilities are also not good in this college.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members are sharp enough to guide students to choose the right path, but there are exceptions as every organisation has. Some post-graduate teachers are very good at their subjects, and they are very helpful.
Other: I chose TS EAMCET after my intermediate and applied for its engineering college web options, as per my eligibility regarding merit, caste, etc. I got seat at this institution for free, and I also got half reimbursement as I am from other states i.e., out of Telangana.

Placements: Placements are good in our college. Training of placements is excellent, and they are doing their best to give us a better position through placements. All companies are excited to give placements to the students who are studying in our college.
Infrastructure: Our college has a very good infrastructure, and even washrooms are good. It has the best structure as compared to other campuses in the surrounding. It has all things which students required like a sports room, hostels, gym, playground, volleyball, basketball courts, etc.
Faculty: Faculty members and curriculum are excellent in the college. Faculty members are highly experienced in their respective subjects, and they do their best to give us the knowledge which they have. They support well in all the tough situations for every student.
