Placements: 90% of students from the batch secured job offers across various sectors. The highest was 12 lpa, and the lowest was at 70k per month. Zoho, Infosys, Royal Enfield, TCS, and Wipro are the top recurring companies for this course. Full-stack developer, backend developer, cloud engineer, site reliability engineer, and product engineer are some of the top roles offered.
Infrastructure: We got a new block recently, especially for MSC integrated courses. Classrooms are good. The institute provides well-maintained facilities for sports like football, cricket, basketball, and tennis.
A modern gym equipped with cardio and weight-training equipment is accessible to students.
Faculty: It's quite good. High-speed internet connectivity is available throughout the hostel premises. Laundry facilities are available to help students manage their daily needs with ease. Round-the-clock security personnel and CCTV surveillance to ensure student safety.
Other: I chose it just because it was different from other courses.

Review of Coimbatore Institute of Technology.
Placements: This college provides good placements in and around India. Companies like Amazon, IBM, Thorogood, and many other wonderful ones come here. They also offer 6+6 months of internships.
Infrastructure: The hostel is pretty neat and clean. The hostels are allotted as per their year. There are separate departmental and hostel buildings for different courses. The food is hygienic and appreciable. Outing is allowed, but there are restrictions.
Faculty: The college has many ECA clubs and activities. There are almost 32 clubs led by students in a wonderfully organized manner. These clubs are educational as well as sportive and filled with fun and joy. Every club gives us enthusiasm.

Placements: Around 90% of students get placements every year. The highest salary package offered to seniors is 40 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. The average salary pacakge offered ranges from 5 LPA - 7 LPA. As per the senior many get placed in companies like Amazon, Thorogood, Deeksha. Around 90% of students get placed every year. Technical developer and system designer are top roles offered by companies to our course.
Infrastructure: As our college was built around 1950, the infrastructure is old. But the laboratories are good, and the classrooms are also good. The hostel is not good on infrastructure, few blocks which are built i.e new is good. The food is not good in hostels, and there is no indoor ground for students to play sports.
Faculty: Some teachers are good friends to students, they teach students in an easy way that students could understand well. They also help students in project doubt, and they encourage students. Some staffs are not that good at teaching, they use to teach through powerpoint presentations and not give some extra attention to students. The course makes students ready for the industry, and the semester here is difficult.
Other: I opted for this course, because my keen interest in coding and programming motivated me to choose this course. This course gives me all the knowledge to get fit in an industry. The curriculum may be updated as per the company requirement and the staff can be more knowledgeable.

Review of Coimbatore Institute of Technology.
Placements: Placements are above average here, and both the product and service-based companies visit CIT. The average salary package offered is 8 LPA. As if you have experience of 6 months of internship, you will have an added advantage. You should have problem-solving skills and coding knowledge. CIT boosts start-ups, and it has its own EDC cell, where it incubates new start-ups of the students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average in CIT because it is 60 years old. Labs are decent, but the infrastructure won't attract you. However, CIT is one of the top reputed colleges for engineering. Its glory is incomparable. You can find many clubs, and they are huge in number. Joining them improve your contact with seniors.
Faculty: The curriculum is challenging, and exams are difficult. You have to spend your time to learn on your own. Faculty members here only guide, and you should learn on your own. I suggest you join this college only if you have a true interest. You have a very hectic workload of assignments, mini-projects, records, observations, manuals, etc. So you have to work every time.
Other: Nakshatra is an event organised for first-year students where you can join other departments and your engineering friends. Students can celebrate the event altogether.
