I am very satisfied with the college, and I recommend everyone to join.
Placements: The college is good. The one thing is that placements after Covid are low, before Covid the placements are high in here. After Covid the placements are not as good when compared to the previous ones. Overall the college is good.
Infrastructure: The college lab is very good, I will give five stars. The lab assistants are so helpful, and the facilities are even good. Hostel is very nice, good food, atmosphere, etc. College canteen is very nice and has a cafeteria too. Our college participates in sports very well and provides good support for sports and arts.
Faculty: Faculty members are very good, most of them are M.Tech graduates and experienced. The college is under KTU University and follows the KTU curriculum. The curriculum is well structured and well organised. Semester exams are moderate level some are a little tough, but we can manage them.
Other: Our college has IEEE, IEDC, NSS, arts, and sports clubs. Our IEEE is Keralas one of the best IEEEs. They got a scholarship at the state level. The sports club is very active, and they participated in all state sports events. All staff and teachers are very supportive.

College of Engineering Adoor: Excellence in Learning.
Placements: The College of Engineering, Adoor has an average placement history. College of Engineering Adoor offers varied placements. In mechanical, around 10-60% of students got placed with an average of 3 LPA - 5 LPA. In ECE/Electrical, around 80–90% of students got placed with a salary package of 4–8 LPA. Top recruiters include Infosys, TCS, and L&T. Internships are frequent in IT/core firms.
Infrastructure: CEA has good infrastructure with spacious classrooms, well-equipped labs, computer centers, Wi-Fi, seminar halls, hostels, a library, and playgrounds. They provide a supportive campus environment for academics and activities. It has good hostel and food facilities. We have a good hostel.
Faculty: CEA teachers are experienced and supportive, blending theory with practical learning. The curriculum follows APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, updated with labs, projects, and industry-oriented subjects. Projects may come from small companies or previous alumni.

It is a better college compared to other engineering colleges in Kerala.
Placements: It has a quality placements and career guidance unit. The placement office handles all aspects of campus placements for the graduation students at CEA. It is well-equipped with excellent infrastructure to support every stage of placements process. Students have received placements in MNCs like Infosys, HCL, Syntel, Larsen & Toubro, UST Global, CTS, Mindtree, Oracle, Tata Elxsi, and Wipro, through the placement cell.
Infrastructure: Our hostel food is very good. We take care of our own mess, and I cannot guarantee other hostels. The canteen is average. It does not have good sports facilities. The library section is very good. It has a lot of books available. Labs like chemistry do not have enough space.
Faculty: Some teachers are excellent at teaching. The syllabus is based on KTU syllabus. KTU aims to prepare students for real-world challenges by interacting with practical projects and collaborations with industries. KTU APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University syllabus is generally considered to be quite tough. Many students report that it requires a significant amount of effort to achieve even a passing grade, due to its extensive coverage and demanding nature.

Overrated course of an overrated college.
Placements: Most students don't get any job after studying at this college most of them are unemployed. This is the reality of our college. Only few students got placed. They don't represent most of this college. There are many problems in our college.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of college is in pathetic condition. It looks like it has not been maintained for a long time. College has an old and damaged appearance. On mechanical block most of the tiles on the floor are broken due to mismanagement of the college.
Faculty: Course curriculum is boring, they want us to study other subjects which don't give us a job like everyone in society calls us unemployed. It is not relevant. The pass percentage is very low not even half students passed. The exams are difficult due to intense exams, record with writing, assignment writing, etc.

    I'm dissatisfied with college.
Placements: Placements in this college are in very bad condition. Most students are failing the exams. Only 30% students passed exams in the last year. Most students didn't get any job after the course. Most companies aren't interested in this college.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure in this college is very small and narrow. Photos on Google are misleading. Labs are very congested. Toilets are hygienic and smelly. There are poor instruments and furnitures. Dogs are everywhere including college building is covered with moss.
Faculty: Faculty members have zero experience and zero ability to teach. Faculty members are missing their authority to decrease attendance and internal marks of students due to personal grudges. Course curriculum is so bad, that companies are avoiding this college for placements. Even companies know curriculum is useless.

The college is valuable for money for what we give.
Placements: College has a good career placements and placement unit. They are nurturing students to get recruitment from companies. Companies are invited to the college to recruit final-year students. Students have received placements in MNCs like Infosys, HCL, Syntel, Larsen & Toubro, UST Global, CTS, Mindtree, Oracle, Tata Elxsi, and Wipro through the placement cell.
Infrastructure: The facilities for classrooms are average. Hostel food is also average. Also, they are preparing hygienic food. The college mess is also average. It doesn't have good facilities for sports or other games. Library section is very good. It has all kinds of books.
Faculty: KTU syllabus is available in college of engineering. KTU syllabus is purely based on industry needs, technological advancements, and global trends. It provides regular updates, practical exposure, and skill-based learning to ensure graduates are employable, innovative, and prepared for future challenges in their respective fields.

The KEAM exam is conducted by the Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala. It is conducted for admission to almost all colleges in Kerala, not only for the College of Engineering, Adoor. The results for admission in 2025 have already been declared on May 14, 2025.
