Dissatisfied because of bad placements. Good infrastructure, campus life and facilities.

Placements: There is a placement cell in our college. Placements were held on the whole for students including B.E and M.E of all the departments. Only 5 IT companies namely Hcl, wipro, cts, tcs, infosys held campus in our college. No core company placements were held for students in M.E High Voltage Engineering. No internships has been arranged from our division for us.

Infrastructure: College has good Wi-Fi connectivity thought-out entire campus. There is a central library which has almost all the books. College has a health centre for students and staff members. There is a big ground for playing outdoor game. There is also an indoor stadium, gym, swimming pool for students. Classrooms are neat and clean. Maintenance of the college campus is perfect. CEG canteen is one of the cheapest canteen in Chennai. Within 50 rupees you can eat up a meal. Both vegetarian food and non vegetarian foods are available in canteen.

Faculty: Teachers in high voltage division are well qualified, knowledgeable and helpful. Faculty to student ratio in M.E high voltage division is 1:8. We got good industrial exposure. We went to three industrial visits. We have witnessed real time testing of high voltage equipment. Course curriculum is different for CEG. It is not the same as Anna University affiliated college's curriculum.

Other: Techofes and kurukshetra are the main cultural events held in college campus. One can enjoy the college life in CEG campus. Many scholarships are provided by the government to the students in CEG.
