Vocational courses from the CVS.
Placements: At my time of graduation there were no much information about internships and training that's why I didn't get any offers from the placement cell for the those. Also I was the COVID batch that limited my job opportunities from the placement as it was hardly active during that time. Although some students got offered in 2nd year only but not much. So decent placement cell.
Infrastructure: I really like the overall infrastructure of the college, it being a government college in very less feels it doesn't provides great infrastructure with nice library, classroom, playground and all. Really love spending around in the playground area where we had badminton court as well.
Faculty: The faculty for the college are the best for me. They are highly cooperative and well read which gave me a great knowledge which is not just in curriculum but life lessons and also career planning. The course I studied was also very much of my interest and was practically inclined which I was looking for and got.
Other: It comes into he south campus of Delhi University which connect many college near by which gives a great exposure though events and programs in nearby colleges.

My college is really good in infrastructure and facilities it's worth it.
Placements: Approximately 50-60% of students secure placements after graduation. The highest salary package ranges from 9 to 10 lakhs, the average package is between 5 and 6 lakhs, and the lowest package is between 3 and 4 lakhs. Top recruiting companies for my course in Marketing Management and Retail Business include Wipro, TATA, LG, and others. Additionally, around 50 percent of students receive internships with companies such as FMG, Deloitte, KPMG, etc.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure and facilities are excellent, featuring Wi-Fi, well-equipped labs, classrooms with projectors, a library, seminar halls, and an auditorium. The hostel facility is not available, the college has a canteen that offers good quality food and snacks. Medical facilities are also provided, and there is a large playground with facilities for various sports and games.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. The quality of teaching is excellent. This course offers both practical and theoretical knowledge, effectively preparing us for the industry. However, passing the course can be challenging. The pass percentage is 33.3%.

CVS is for vocational studies.
Placements: In my college, we do have a placement cell but it is not very active and it is run by only students. There are very few offers in the college to students. Top companies visit the college but hardly they hire students. Marketing roles are mostly offered in our college by a variety of companies in the placement cell. The average package in the college is hardly around 4 LPA or less than that.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is pretty average. We do have Shaheed Bhagat Singh College just beside our college which has extremely nice infrastructure but CVS compared to it is lacking in infrastructure. Mostly, classrooms are smaller in size and hardly 1-2 classrooms have ACs and projectors. The canteen of the college is pretty well and has good quality food. The library is also well-organised and easy to access.
Faculty: Faculty members of the college are one of the positive points for which one should get into this college. Teachers are very supportive. The course curriculum of my course is pretty much real-life based and easy to study. We do study a lot of case studies which make students industry-ready.
Other: The college feels is definitely on the lower side because it is a government college and offers good quality stuff in all matters. A little bit of improvement can change the whole perspective of the college. Fests and events do take place where SBSC and CVS college students come together which is a great place to enjoy and meet new students and experience a variety of cultures.

College of Vocational Studies, an overwhelming crowd college with a great environment.
Placements: The college has a high number of students, among which 40% are placed in good companies. The average package is 4 LPA, with the least being 2 LPA and the highest at 24 LPA. I have never heard of any great company coming to the College of Vocational Studies to recruit students for internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not that poor, but it’s not that great either. The college has three buildings, among which the classrooms aren't air-conditioned, but it has a great library and canteen with a wide variety of books and food options that are worth it. Sports also play an important role for students.
Faculty: The teachers are amazing here; their way of teaching is quite expressive and easy to understand. The course focuses on providing practical knowledge, and the teachers effectively deliver that. Semester exams are not that tough if students attend college regularly and focus. Almost 70-80% of students usually pass semester exams.
Other: The course in marketing management and retail business is unique and attractive, providing practical knowledge to establish and grow a business in the market. There are no significant improvements needed in my course. It has great connectivity, events, etc.

If you are searching for a good college life, this college may not be for you.
Placements: There are no specific numbers about how many students are placed from the college. The highest placement for this course is 10 LPA, and the average is 3 to 4 LPA, with the lowest package being 2 LPA. In the 1st year, there are no internship opportunities on campus.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is the biggest disadvantage. There are no smart classrooms, the classes are not in good condition, and there are not good washrooms with only two working water coolers in the whole campus. The library is quite decent. There are no cricket or basketball grounds on the campus.
Faculty: There are semester-wise exams conducted by the University of Delhi. There are two semester exams in a year. The teachers are helpful and knowledgeable, but there are not regular classes. Mostly, classes are canceled at the beginning and end of a semester.
