Need to work on infrastructure.
Placements: The placement is very poor. Only 10 to 15% students get hired and the package is also not very great. The highest package was somewhere around INR 6 to 7 lakhs and the minimum was INR 1 to 1.5 Lacs per annum which I think is very low. I didn't join the placement cell Aspire. The top recruiting companies are Deloitte, McKinsey, EY, Trav Clan, etc. The top roles offered in my course are of interpreter and content writer. Almost 70% students do internships in my course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very poor. There is seepage in the old building and no air conditioners in any room. Wi-Fi connection is not available for the students. The library is good. There is no hostel facility for the students. The canteen serves good quality food. A huge ground is present which is a perk for sportspersons.
Faculty: The teachers are excellent. They all are either pursuing their Ph.D. or are already qualified with that. They complete the syllabus on time and attend the students very politely. The course curriculum is absolutely relevant. The semester exams are pretty tough but it's according to our standard. The passing percentage is 37%.
Other: I chose this course because I like reading. If you are someone who enjoys reading or writing then you should surely go for it. There are a lot of societies present for us to choose according to our passion. They organise regular events in the college and even participate in events outside the college campus.

Amazing faculty and good environment.
Placements: The Placement cell of the college works hard to find the right job opportunities. Be it any field, you will find many internship and job opportunities here. There are both Works from Home and Work from office opportunities. Also, both paid and unpaid. There are opportunities for everyone.
Infrastructure: The only problem exists in the number of washrooms. The infrastructure is developing and new buildings are coming up on the premises to accommodate more students. The classrooms in the new building library and seminar hall etc. are in great condition.
Faculty: The teachers are great. They are always ready to help the students and dedicated to helping them achieve the best scores. The teachers are qualified for the job and try their best to make learning fun and enjoyable. They provide all the necessary information and notes you can need for scoring good marks.
Other: The events in the college are amazing. There are at least 30 societies which help ensure that your college life is fun and happening.

Infrastructure is not good of this college.
Placements: We don't have any placement in my course but there are so many internship available in our course such as content writing, proof reading etc. We can do Masters in any field. We can choose teaching, journalism and freelancing, many more any other opportunities.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not to good and there is no hostel in my college, no Wi-Fi available for students, canteen food is not good. Sports facilities are good for students. Classrooms are not good because the walls of the classroom are not too good as the wall paint is dull.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable in my course. They always support students and guide a correct path. The semester exams are difficult and percentage is quite down. If the student work hard then they get good results and placement also.
Other: I didn't get admission in North campus that's why I had a last option too choose CVS and the course is English Honours. ECL subject is not quite satisfactory. All events and fests are excellent but scholarship is not available for students outside Delhi.

It is a great college, but don't keep your expectations high.
Placements: The placement cell is operated by teachers and students alike and is esteemed as one of the best in Delhi University. They organise internship fairs every year, and many good companies visit the campus. Most of the seniors are placed upon completion of their course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good with a suitable study atmosphere. Classrooms are not really state-of-the-art but are good enough to study. Labs and other facilities are average. An upgrade is needed. The library needs to be maintained even better.
Faculty: Faculty members for my course are great and helpful in every way possible. They are well eligible and qualified and are fun being. Though there is usually a shortage of teachers, that is a problem with the whole Delhi University. The faculty members are superb and make the college great.

This college is famous for vocational courses.
Placements: The placement cell of CVS is very good and provides good job opportunities to students. It ensures that most of the students get job opportunities, and they also make sure to provide internships so that it can help to build up the resumes of students. All you have to do is to stay updated in the social media accounts of the society.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is average like any other college. There are three buildings in the college out of which one is recently constructed and has big classrooms. The ground is well-maintained, and the college is not fully air-conditioned. But the infrastructure is quite satisfying according to the standards of a government college.
Faculty: The faculty members are experienced and knowledgeable. They are always there to help you with your syllabus and also with any issues that you are facing in the college. They are quite active and try to conduct many workshops with publishers and authors. Some education excursions are also organised by them.
Other: CVS currently has more than 25 academic societies. It has one of the creative and enthusiastic crowds. The college provides the best vocational courses, and every society makes sure that events are a great hit.

Q:   How can I get admission in College of Vocational Studies?
    A:

College of Vocational Studies (like all DU-affiliated colleges) adopted the CUET UG exam for admission to its undergraduate courses. At first, it is necessary that aspirants opt for DU during CUET form filling and later apply on the CSAS portal to be eligible for admission. The admission process after the CUET result declaration is explained below:

Step 1: After the declaration of the CUET UG exam, register on the DU CSAS portal in multiple phases.

Step 4: Once the candidate "Accept" the provisionally allocated seat, the College of Vocational Studies will verify the eligibility and documents uploaded by the candidate online. The college has an option to 'Accept' or 'Reject' the admission of the student basis the verification.

Step 5: Once College of Vocational Studies accords the approval, candidates will have to pay the 'Admission Fee' to confirm their seat.

Q:   How are placements at CVS, Delhi?
    A:

Overall, the on-campus placements are good but if you are pursuing a technical course from here then it might not be good enough as the companies that come here are for vocational courses.

So, if you are from a technical background or pursuing a technical course then you need to work consistently on your skillset and grab opportunities that come your way off campus and you can also participate in Placement drive that occur in North Campus or respected DU colleges such as Deshbandhu College which organises its drive and invite students from all over DU.
