Placements: The placement cell of my college is not working at par. I am almost finishing my 2nd year in college but do not get any internship opportunities to just apply for. The selection is on the other hand but there is no application also. Do not like placement cell for internships although seniors do get jobs, but they are also very less and don't fulfill good amount of students in the batch.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at my college is also pretty average as the college of vocational studies is connected with Shaheed Bhagat Singh College. In the south campus, the overall campus is awesome. But college on its own is not worth it. The classrooms are small, limited sports availability, unmanaged library, etc. All these worse the college experience.
Faculty: Teachers at the college are the best so far. They are very supportive and kind-hearted. One of the best teachers for me is Pranjal Maam, she is the best teacher not just for study but she helps a lot in career guidance. They help in the time of exams, and make the concepts easy. All these quality makes the faculty stand out for the overall college experience.
Other: We do have scholarships in the college for both means cum merit basis. So if you have a good score in college then you can get scholarships. On the other hand, if you are from some reservation like SC, ST, OBC, or physically disabled, etc. Then, you can also avail yourself scholarships. The scholarships are upto 100% for all the eligible students.

Business economics in best faculty college - CVS.
Placements: The placement cell of my college is working pretty averagely and doesn't bring too much placements or internship opportunities but decent or a little less only. In my 2nd year, around 7-10 students got internships from the placement cell. The average stipend is Rs 5,000 per month which is fine but as per the class strength of 85 students, it is pretty less and should definitely improved.
Infrastructure: I personally like the college infrastructure a lot. Some students complain about stuff that is extraordinary like ACs, high-speed Wi-Fi, etc., which is not there on the campus. The fee justifies this, I believe but still we have good sports area, library, classrooms, etc. In the college making it the best government college infrastructure.
Faculty: Teachers of the college are also very humble and highly qualified. Mostly are Ph.D. holders with a great amount of teaching experience which gives us the best learning experience in the college. Also, the teachers are always ready to help us in whatever way they can and give all that they have to help us.
Other: I believe the college sometimes feels very crowded as the college area is somewhat smaller than other DU colleges. But the college has great fests and events all over the year. We get a good time to socialize and enjoy life beyond studies.

The placement cell of the College of Vocational Studies is awesome.
Placements: I am a second-year student currently doing an internship in a startup, which I got from my placement cell only. The process is very smooth and I landed up in this internship with little effort by staying in touch with the placements cell of the college. We should just fill out the form on time and follow the process effectively.
Infrastructure: I find the college infrastructure to be mediocre. It is a government college, so we should not expect too much, as the fees justify the infrastructure. However, still, little efforts should be made, like a better Wi-Fi on campus, canteen maintenance, etc., which will make a big difference in the overall infrastructure of the college.
Faculty: Faculty members are great in the college. I love the way teachers teach and interact in college. They guide the struggling students effectively. Exams are of a moderate level, so a little bit of effort will help us score well in college. Without studying at all, it will be very difficult to even pass.
Other: Fests are organised combined for all nearby South campus colleges, which gives a great way to meet new students from different regions and enjoy life while studying to refresh and never feel stressed.

College of Vocational Studies - The real truth.
Placements: Though I am not yet eligible to sit in placements, I have got the data through my pass out seniors. Last year the college contacted 100 to 200 companies out of which 2 to 3 companies came. Most of the hiring is from HRM courses and various vocational courses. B.A. hons business economics does not get many hires though having 100 students in class.
Infrastructure: Hostel is not provided. You will have to look for a PG or flat nearby in Sheikh Sarai or Chirag Delhi. College infrastructure is okay having a 2-story library and 2 computer labs. But the college does not have an auditorium. The ceiling drips in the rain. The new building is relatively better but not the best.
Faculty: The course and professors are nice. Professors are knowledgeable and are very helpful in every matter including getting an NOC for internships and clearing the backlog. The course is also very modern and will help to get a job in the market very easily.
Other: The course and college are quite okay. Obviously being a college on south campus is not the best choice but it is certainly a good one. Do not just keep studying go out socialize and get world experience.

    Vocational Studies at CVS.
Placements: I am in my 2nd year of graduation and did a 1-month internship offered by the placement cell. So, the placement cell is definitely working in our college. Although there are not an extreme number of offers, as with me there were 2 more students from the batch who did internships in the 1st year. The average stipend is around 5000.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is also pretty well-built and well-maintained. There is decent lighting, ventilation, projectors, etc., in classrooms. The library is also very well-stocked in the college. Wi-Fi facility is not available anywhere in the college, or it is only for admin people.
Faculty: Faculty members of the College of Vocational Studies are also very nice. They have a great amount of experience in teaching, that makes them give the best to students. Teachers are open to all doubts, even outside classrooms. Teachers also guide students in future career planning and further studies if students show interest and ask for it.
Other: Scholarships are provided to students on the basis of merit as well as means. There is a detailed process for that, which is told by college staff to students.

    Vocational studies in the college.
Placements: The placement cell of the college is very average. There are very few amounts of offers for internships for 1st and 2nd-year students. Although decent amount of offers for jobs in the final year which I have heard, but I am not exactly sure of. The average package in the college is around 2 LPA. The average internship stipend is around Rs. 3,000-5,000 per month.
Infrastructure: The overall feel of the infrastructure of the college is not that pleasing rather there is a lot of need for proper construction. The sports ground has to be more regulated and maintained. The library is also very less maintained and organised which can be improved easily.
Faculty: The faculty of the college is also not that amazing, as teachers are hardly available after class for any doubt or guidance. But they are definitely working pretty well in the classroom. My course is business economics. It has many real-life practicals which make it more connected to actual world problems. It makes the studies interesting.
