I'm satisfied with the faculty and placements in 2026. Good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: I've seen my seniors getting their placements in reputed companies. Every 4 out of 5 students were placed this year as well. The highest package is around 23 LPA and the lowest package is around 5 LPA to 10 LPA. Top recruiting companies include the Big 4, Accenture, ICICI Bank, and Amazon. Around 60 to 70 percent of students got internships in NGOs, corporates, and startups. Top roles offered are business analyst, financial analyst, consultant, and data analyst.

Infrastructure: Daulat Ram College has really good infrastructure with proper Wi-Fi, excellent and well-built libraries and well-developed classrooms. Its canteen is really good and has proper hygiene. Even the quality of hostels is really good with proper medical facilities. Daulat Ram College is well known for its sports.

Faculty: All the teachers are qualified and really helpful. Their teaching quality and knowledge helped all the students throughout their exams. The curriculum is really relevant and makes students industry-ready. Difficulty of semester exams ranges from average to a bit difficult.

Other: I chose Economics honours because of my love for Economics. I love how Economics is not only interesting but I can also relate to it in my everyday life. Our college's annual fest Manjari is well known for its success. We have enjoyable fests with a comfortable and safe crowd.

The best and safest girls' college in the north campus of Delhi University.

Placements: Around 60–80% of students are placed every year. The college hosts placement drives each year under Vridhi, the placement cell. The highest package goes up to 24 LPA, while the average remains around 5–6.5 LPA, and the lowest package is around 3 LPA. Top recruiters are EY, PwC, Deloitte, and KPMG. Around 50–70% of students get internships under Government ministries like NITI Aayog, ICSSR, NSO, the Ministry of Finance, etc. Privately owned companies like ICICI Bank and Big Four firms. Top roles offered are Management Consultant, Public Policy Researcher, Data Analyst, Business Analyst, and Investment Banker.

Infrastructure: The department is equipped with library access (with Wi-Fi), classrooms with AC, smartboards, and white/black boards. Hostel facilities are good. Students get hygienic food in the mess three to four times a day. Medical facilities are available in the hostel as well as in the college medical room. The college hosts an annual sports day (Khelo DRC), fitness drives, and other sports events. Sports include fencing, javelin throw, kabaddi, kho-kho, and volleyball.

Faculty: Teachers are very supportive and helpful. All of them have at least a Ph.D. in their respective subjects. They have strong academic experience. The course curriculum is as per Delhi University standards and is interesting to study. Semester exams of Delhi University are uniform for all colleges, and the level varies year to year. The pass percentage is more than 70%.

Other: I chose this course due to high return on investment. It has a vast career opportunities. The best thing about this course is its real-world relevance and focus on statistics, which keeps students engaged. The only improvement needed in the curriculum is that assignments for every semester should be announced in advance instead of at the last minute, so students have enough time to prepare. The college hosts Diwali mela, departmental fests, and annual fests every year. The vibe of these events is unmatched. Being a girls' college, the environment is safe and respectful.

Absolutely satisfied because of active societies, faculty, placements, etc.

Placements: Around 80 percent of students are placed in my course based on their respective qualifications. Top recruiting companies include KPMG, Deloitte, EY, and Accenture. The highest package goes up to 23 LPA, with an average package of about 6 to 7 LPA.

Infrastructure: Talking about infrastructure, our library is well maintained with a newly built 'RAMALAYA' within it. It also has a Wi-Fi connection. Although the connection is not that good, it works. Most of the classrooms are air-conditioned. The food in the canteen is very affordable and nice.

Faculty: The faculty of my course is excellent and qualified. They have keen interest in the subject they teach and take all our doubts. Teaching quality is quite nice. They take regular tests to ensure that we students understand and learn the topic thoroughly. However, talking about the curriculum, it focuses majorly on theory rather than practical knowledge to make us industry-ready.

Other: I chose this course since it is one of the most reputed courses. It has very much scope and I also have keen interest in the subject. The fest of our college is very fascinating.

Good placements but poor infrastructure. No specific economics department.

Placements: The placement cell at Daulat is effective. The highest package offered was 22 lakhs per annum by DE Shaw & Co. Some students received placements at Tries Vista, with packages ranging from 10 to 15 lakhs per annum. Many were placed with ICICI Prudent Life, receiving around 11 to 12 lakhs. The second highest package was 19 lakhs per annum, so the average can be considered around 7 to 8 lakhs per annum.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is inadequate. Washrooms are poorly maintained, and there is no Wi-Fi, leading to network issues that sometimes make urgent calls difficult. Not every classroom has air conditioning. The infrastructure of off-campus colleges is better than ours.

Faculty: Without a doubt, the economics department is one of the best in our college. You will find plenty of opportunities to explore new concepts. The teachers in our department are also excellent. The economics exams are quite challenging, so you need to study diligently. Additionally, you will learn new things through extracurricular activities, as the department organizes skill development programs for students.

Other: I personally enjoy economics, which is why I chose this field. The campus atmosphere is pleasant with minimal chaos. You will find a friendly environment, and seniors are supportive. Regarding events, this year our president organized a very successful fest.

Review of placements, infrastructure, and life at Daulat Ram College.

Placements: Placements of Daulat Ram College are not that good. The average package ranges from 4-6 LPA and the highest package ranges from 11-15 LPA. The lowest package ranges from 1-2 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are Adda24/7 and Cita Aviation. Around 40-50% of students are able to get internships and PPOs.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not that good. There has been a lot of construction going on for the past 1-2 years and I believe there will be much more improvement in infrastructure in the upcoming years. The college campus is not that big, but we have a very beautiful front lawn and a sports ground. Most of the classes are in good condition and have ACs, but we will certainly find something we will not like. The canteen is also good. We also have Amul and Nescafe here and most of the things are affordable.

Faculty: Teachers we have in our course are extremely helpful and patient throughout our semesters. They are extremely qualified and most of the teachers are young so they will understand our situation. Due to the lack of experience in the teaching line, we will feel some gap and not be satisfied with their teaching. Research faculty members are in progress.

DRC excels in academics and placements but sports take a backseat.

Placements: We have in-house placements where renowned companies come like Deloitte, KPMG, PwC, etc. For research, associate and entry-level roles are offered. Package starting from 4 LPA - 5 LPA to 20 LPA being the highest and the average is 7 LPA - 9 LPA. It basically depends on the course and student.

Infrastructure: DRC hostel is one of the best girls' hostels in DU with AC facility, good food, and Wi-Fi. Library has AC and Wi-Fi facilities. There are no such sports in DRC except a few.

Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and dedicated. They go beyond classes to teach us which makes economics more interesting. Economics is generally a rigorous course. But if you study from the beginning, you will be fine with semester exams. Passing criteria is 40%. Teaching staff of economics department is top-tier, very supportive, and understanding.

Other: I chose economics because of my interest in it. You can actually learn and analyse things going on in an economy and explore domains like public policy. One thing that can be improved is learning through practical knowledge. Being in North campus networking and exposure is great. Our union pulls off a great fest with high security. Small events like department fests, ethnic day, etc., are part of regular days.

Honest review of Daulat Ram College.

Placements: Daulat Ram College has a placement cell and internships. The college and cell provide good placements to students, especially for Economics Honours and B.Com fields. The placement rate is also very good. The placement cell also organizes a fair for the placement and internship.

Infrastructure: Daulat Ram College has a good infrastructure. The building has 2 floors. My course does not have a department, but the Science courses have their own department. Classrooms have fans and some have ACs. There is also a lift in our college. The hostel provides facilities like AC in the rooms, water 24/7, etc.

Faculty: The college has the best faculty members holding Ph.D. degrees. Though the teaching style varies from teacher to teacher. Everyone is very knowledgeable in their respective subjects. Teachers are very helpful. They motivate us, give honest feedback, and this helps us a lot.

Other: My class has approximately 150 students studying Economics Honours. There are two sections. I chose this course because I have an interest in economics and enjoy understanding how economics works.

Satisfied with my college because of its faculty members and placements.

Placements: For 2023-24 recruitment, the highest salary package offered was 23.5 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 6.47 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Deloitte, PWC, Accenture, Wipro, Metvy, etc. The highest stipend for internships is Rs 40,000 per month. The average stipend is Rs 13,000 per month.

Infrastructure: It has decent infrastructure but also has some limitations. Only 5-6 rooms are equipped with air-conditioners, but most classrooms lack this facility. Library is spacious and offers Wi-Fi for students. Many classrooms are small due to which students have to find empty rooms for tutorial classes.

Faculty: It stands out for its well-structured academic approach and supportive faculty members. The SEC courses offered are relevant and practical. It provides hands-on experience which enhances learning beyond textbooks. Semester exams are not that challenging but require consistent efforts. Teachers are very helpful even during exams as they also conduct online classes during exam season to clear doubts.

Interested candidates have to register online with required information. Non-refundable online registration fee is a mandate without which candidate’s application would not be considered for further processing.
