The college life and campus are good, but not the area, location or competition.
Placements: The percentage of student placed is 60%, which is above average compared to other competitive colleges as there is a huge amount of competition because Dayanand Sagar Institute conducts placement for three colleges. The highest package offered was 51,00,000, which was off campus and on campus, the highest package was 35,00,000, which is good. This package was offered to six students and some of them are international offers as well.
The top recruiting companies are from these sectors and some of them are Mercedes-Benz, Capgemini, Oracle, etc. The percentage of students getting internship is very low, like it's below average and somewhat about 35 percent of the college students getting internships, and ppos are also very low, like among the 35 percent students who are getting internships, 10 percent of them will get PPOs offer.
The top most is always computer science and engineering, which comes under Bachelors of Engineering.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is beautifully made, though the campus is small. The infrastructure has been constructed very nicely.
For our department, which is computer Science and engineering IOT and cyber security, including Blockchain technology, we have plenty of labs and research centers, which is for a small branch, which is very good for my perspective. The Wi-fi facility is also very high and the speed is also nice. The labs are also very well equipped and maintained. Classrooms are huge, but the chair are broken. The library is also very vast and there are thousands of books available for us.
Faculty: The teachers are also very nice and helpful, though some of them are rude. Most of them are very nice and knowledgeable; they are well experienced and the teaching quality is very good. Some of the teachers take to PPT presentation for us, which is very difficult to understand but most of the teachers use marker paints to help us understand things.
The course curriculum is also very reliable and for us as students, it teaches us so nicely that we are always ready for the industry to take over for us.
The examinations are hard and the past percentage is 25%.
Other: I chose this course because the industry is needed for computer science, engineering and software development, and we can also get high-paying job offers, which is good compared to other branches such as mechanical, civil or electrical engineering.
I wish the college location and campus were good, though the location is very poor. The campus must be huge but it is very small, like only 7.5 acres.
The college life is very good we get plenty of events and the major two events are Antaragni and Esperanza the campus ground are huge because we have MBA degrees and BBA degrees, which is for the small college campus, which is crowd-sourcing. The campus surroundings are greenery the scholarships are made for only Karnataka students and primarily for SC and St categories. We do not have many extracurricular activities because there is no cricket or football ground.

College didn't came up as expected.
Placements: Placement is average, not too high, around 60 to 70%. Students get tested every year. The highest package goes around 35 LPA and the average is around 5 to 6 LPA. Some mass recruiters like TCS and Infosys come regularly. Also, a few startups visit for hiring. Internships are available, but mostly students have to apply off-campus. Job roles are mainly software developer, tester, equity researcher, support engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure, distance, and classrooms are okay. There is a new fifth floor opening in 2024, and some of the classes are not up to the mark. New classes are very well maintained and have great posters. Prices are way too high, about 3 lakhs per annum for a hostel, which is excessive, and the beds are like bunker type.
Faculty: Faculty are helpful, but the teaching quality depends on the professor. Some are really good while some just complete the syllabus. The curriculum is somehow outdated but gives a basic understanding. Students need to learn extra skills on their own. For industry exams, the difficulty is moderate, not very tough. If you study regularly, the pass percentage is quite high.
Other: One benefit of the course is you get enough time to explore things on your own, like coding, cybersecurity, or other skills, but the college should improve placement support and practical exposure. Also, industry-oriented training would help a lot. Overall, it depends on how much effort you put in from your side.
