Sir MVIT is a decent college with a huge campus, good placements but has great potential to improve.
Placements: According to the college and its website, around 90% of students get placed. The average package offered is around 5 to 6 LPA, and the highest packages include 30+ LPA and 16+ LPA from companies like Media.net and Amazon. Top recruiting companies include TCS, Accenture, L&T, Wipro, Cognizant, Mindtree, etc. My course is CSE IoT, and I belong to the first-ever batch. According to faculty, we will be seated along with the CSE branches for placement. Internships are no longer provided as of the 2022 scheme, we will only have one internship/training program during our final 8th semester.
Infrastructure: The campus size is huge and filled with greenery, but the infrastructure can be improved significantly. All classrooms are equipped with projectors, and we have decent labs and auditoriums. A new library was built a year ago, which claims to have top amenities, but full access to students has yet to be given. As I am a day scholar, I don't have much idea about the hostel situation, but from what I've heard from my friends, the rooms and other amenities are average, while the mess food is below average.
Faculty: The course curriculum of VTU is outdated and mainly focused on theoretical knowledge rather than practical skills and applications. I doubt if this will make me industry-ready. The majority faculty are average and don't focus much on students' understanding, which is the case in many other colleges. However, there are a few exceptions who really put in effort and have knowledge about the subject. The semester exams of VTU are rather hard, and the evaluation process is not known to be the fairest.
Other: I am allotted this college through the KCET counseling process, where students have to provide a list of preferred colleges/courses. I wish that the curriculum improved a lot and focused on skills rather than the same old theory syllabus. The campus life, including fests and extracurricular activities, could also be improved a great deal when compared to other colleges.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the placements of 2024. faculty members are very nice and kind.
Placements: 10% of the students get the placements. The highest package that was offered is around 15 LPA
And the lowest is around 2lpa
Accenture, Bosch, Amazon like company visit our college.
20%of the students get internship offer from above mentioned companies. Employee .
Infrastructure: There is no such Wi-Fi classrooms are available
Labs are good enough to do our work peaceful? Classrooms are at the good one we have a big library which worth 24 crores. About canteen it is very good infrastructure and maintenance is also good every items in the canteen are very tasty? , for sports we have two big cricket ground. And also we have basketball court, gym, football, indoor kabaddi and badminton court also a indoor TT court. We have our own college hospital in case of emergency.
Faculty: Not all teachers are doing good but majority of them are well worse in teaching their support is in not only in it is in also non academic activities also. Ya we have high scope on my course day by day cyber crime increases and the demand of the cyber security job also increases. If you study everything you can easily get 9 to 10 sgpa and CGPA. Exams are easy. Passing percentage per class is around 95%. .
Other: I have interest in hacking so I choose this course
You can get to know about what the hacking really is
And become the projector of internet? They should teach not only how to stop hacking
They should also teach how to reverse hack? No such events or fest takes place in this college
You can get various scholarships like ssp, pm yashasvi
You can take part in sports, hackathon.

Our college has good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: 75% of our college students are placed, Average package of our college is 6 Lacs. The highest package of our college is 20 Lacs. The lowest package of our colleges 3 Lacs. Top recruiting companies of our course are Infosys Wipro TCS pegasystems and extra.
Infrastructure: Our college has labs related to our course with Wi-Fi facility. Our college has very beautiful library which contains all book related to our syllabus. Our classrooms are very hified having projectors. Our college hostel has very good menu but looks like some old building.
Faculty: Our college have well qualified lectures but sometime they fails to complete the syllabus we have to study yourself. There are one some and exam and two internals the semester and exams are easy we can pass but the past percentage 95% student. The semester and exam for 3 hours.
Other: The cyber security and iot branch have very bright future which provides high packages in market. There are many clubs related to our branch where every week they conduct some events.

Really great infrastructure of college campus and hostels , good faculty
Placements: Placements right now (2023) are down in this college because of recursion in the market but as per previous year reports this college holds good placement data for cse allied branches
And better placement record for core branches
Overall placements are moderate
Infrastructure: Great infrastructure of college campus and hostels as per now new building is in construction for library purpose , greenary surrounded over the campus , and damp environment big hostel ground for including different grounds for cricket football basketball
Indoor stadium ,gym
Faculty: Faculty members are well experienced for BE courses as per the syllabus but as of now all colleges mostly lack technical subjects faculty same as this , mostly in engeneering courses student's smart work shows up here not totally depends on college faculty
Other: It is one of the 15 engeneering colleges in bangalore as per kcet admissions , events and fests are quite better from this year (2023) , college life is good enough for medium expectations , campus is fully surrounded with greenary , campus uplift all types of extra curricular activities like sports etc
