In the Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering (DSCE) undergraduate (UG) system of admission, those seeking entry must first appear in an entrance test such as KCET, COMEDK UGET, or JEE (non-Karnataka applicants), then undergo a merit ranking, according to the results of such tests, and must have completed the class 12 qualification with Physics and Mathematics as mandatory subjects. 1. Eligibility Check:
You must have a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in Physics and Mathematics and pass the class 12 or its equivalent examination and one of the following: Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science or Electronics. In the case of Karnataka SC/ST/OBC, the total is 40%.
2. Entrance Exam:
Enrol in and take one of the qualification entrance examinations.
KCET: Karnataka Common Entrance Test, which is administered by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA).
COMEDK UGET: Karnataka consortium of medical, engineering and dental college entrance examination.
JEE: Joint Entrance Examination.
3. Merit-Based Admission:
Admissions are made on the basis of the meritorious ranking received in the entrance exams.
