Karnataka PGCET 2023: Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) is set to release the Karnataka PGCET answer key around September 27. As per the information brochure, candidates can get the Karnataka PGCET answer key PDF within three days of the exam date. KEA conducted the Karnataka PGCET exam on September 23 and 24. The hall ticket for Karnataka PGCET was released on the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in, on September 13. Candidates who completed registration on or before September 1 were able to download PGCET 2023 hall ticket Karnataka until the exam date. KEA will conduct the Karnataka PGCET 2023 exam on September 23 and 24.

Q:   When will the official Karnataka PGCET answer key release?

As per the official Karnataka PGCET brochure, the answer key will be available within three days after the completion of the entrance test on the KEA website. The candidates / parents / lecturers, will be able to file their objections, if any, within three days in respect of any of the published answer key. Candidates are also required to submit all the supporting documents & justification for the objection filed. Objections filed by the candidates without justification shall not be considered. Objections received after the last date fixed shall not be considered. Objections received by the KEA will be placed before an Expert Committee, whose decision will be final in this regard.

Karnataka PGCET Eligibility Criteria for Government Seats

Candidates should have studied and passed from a government-recognised educational institution located in Karnataka for a minimum period of seven academic years commencing from 1st standard continuously or in broken period and must have passed class 10th or class 12th from a government-recognised institution located in Karnataka.

The candidate should have passed the qualifying examination from Karnataka. In addition, either of the parents must have studied for a period of seven years in Karnataka

OR

Children of ex-servicemen who had declared a place in Karnataka as their home town at the time of joining the defence services. In addition, such candidates should have passed the qualifying exam from a University or Board located anywhere in India.

All the four sections of the Karnatka PGCET exam will have equal weightage in terms of number of questions and marks. Each 4 section has 25 quwestions and carry 1 marks each. Karnataka PGCET 2022 Exam Analysis

The Karnataka PGCET 2022 exam followed the pattern earlier announced by the exam authorities; hence, there was no surprise element in the paper. As per the teaching faculty of different coaching centres, Karnataka PGCET 2023 exam for MBA was easiest if compared to the question papers from past few exam sessions. Karnataka Examinations Authority releases the Karnataka PGCET 2023 result online. Q:   What is the method to prepare the inter-se merit list for Karnataka PGCET?

Inter-se-merit is prepared based on the scores of the candidates in the Karnataka PGCET exam. When two or more candidates secure the same merit position, inter-se-merit is determined with reference to the total aggregate marks obtained by the candidate in the qualifying exam, that is the graduation degree. Q:   When will KEA declare Karnataka PGCET results?

A:

Karnataka PGCET 2023 results are expected to be released in the last week of October. However, KEA is yet to notify about the Karnataka PGCET 2023 result declaration date and event schedule. Candidates will find the Karnataka PGCET results within 2 months of the exam date. In the previous session, that is PGCET 2022, the result was released on December 29. Candidates can expect a similar trend in the current session as well.

Q:   How is Karnataka PGCET rank list prepared?

A:

KEA prepares the Karnataka PGCET rank based on the performance of the candidate in the entrance test. KEA provides one mark for each correct response marked by the candidate. The candidates with more marks get higher rank. In case of tie breaking, tie breaking criteria is applied. In the case where two or more candidates secure the same merit, then the Karnataka PGCET inter se merit is determined with reference to the total aggregate marks obtained in the qualifying exam. In the case where marks obtained are equal, the inter-se-merit is determined based on the age of the candidates. Older candidates are preferred over younger ones.

Karnataka PGCET Counselling

Soon after the declaration of the Karnataka PGCET merit list, candidates qualifying the exam can participate in the Karnataka PGCET counselling 2023 for MBA admission. In the counselling round, the allotment of seats is done based on merit and priority options. The counselling process includes candidates' registration, document verification, option entry, and seat allotment.
