The college should improve infrastructure; otherwise, it is excellent in academics and co-curricular

Placements: As far as my batch is concerned, no student got placed through the college placement cell. Since there was no placement, so there arises no question of the highest or the lowest package. Though students can apply for various job roles and companies, no company has visited the college for that matter. Many students got internships, around 8 to 10 students for the time period of 2 to 3 months in various ministries like foreign, home, etc.

Infrastructure: Deshbandhu College has an average infrastructure since it is one of the ancient colleges established under the University of Delhi, but over time, the renovation and work on forging new buildings have been happening. Today, the college is equipped with Wi-Fi, e-library, labs for courses with computer requirements, and classrooms with adequate space, equipped with air conditioning.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified in their respective domains and so helpful that they help students in class, outside the class, and online as well. Teachers always embolden students to perform and explore the subject beyond the prescribed syllabus. This course is very versatile because it has both maths and political science, which open numerous opportunities for the students in the future. It makes students industry-ready as you learn here the polity which gives you the global temperament, and with that, you have Maths which gives you that statistical knowledge to be used in various job roles.

Other: I chose this course for its diverse nature, which gives me holistic development. The best thing about this course is that you are not supposed to stick with one particular domain or stream. You get a chance to choose subjects beyond your curriculum in the form of generic electives. As I had philosophy in my generic electives with Maths and political science as discipline subjects. The improvement in the course can be that generic electives must be for the starting two years so that it makes students eligible for pursuing that subject at their Master's level. Fests are really good, including performances of some popular celebs of the country. This college has the most number of extracurricular societies and it is one of the best-rated colleges when it comes to NCC, which continuously won prizes in all wings.
