Sometimes if you miss the internal exams due to a valid reason and if you give a valid reason to the professors for not giving your internal exams then professors can schedule your exam after some time once again. But if you miss again then they mark you 0. Although they try to give one or two chances for the students by warning them but if you don't listen they give 0 at last. 

Admission to undergraduate and graduate programmes at ARSD College New Delhi is based on merit or the results of an entrance exam. Admission to the undergraduate programme at ARSD College is based on CUET results, then the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS). The Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET) is the basis for PG admission to ARSD College. According to DU regulations, 50% of the available seats are filled based on the qualifying exam's merit, and the remaining seats are filled based on the admission test's rank.

If anyone fails in internal exams nothing happens. You have to pass the external exam's in order to get into next semester. Out of 100 you must score 33 marks overall to get promoted in next semester. Internal marks doesn't matters. It's matter if you have to score good GCPA.
