Review of Dr Ambedkar Government Arts College.
Placements: Almost 20% of students in our class got placed. Many BPO sectors visit our college to recruit students. The salary offered ranges between Rs. 8,000 - Rs. 20,000 per month. The top recruiting company is Sri Ram Insurance. The top role offered is customer service.
Infrastructure: Our college provides us with all facilities. Wi-Fi facility is not available for students. Labs and libraries are good. Classrooms are average. Classrooms are good in the new building. Hostels are not good because students from different colleges will stay there. The hostel is maintained by the government. The food served in the hostel is unhygienic. Many students don't want to stay in the hostel. They would like to take a room at a rent. Our college provides us with sports and games. Wi-Fi facility is not available in the computer lab. You must stand and watch what the professor is doing on the computer. First, they teach boys and then girls.
Faculty: Our teachers are well-experienced and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is up to the mark. The course curriculum is not updated. We can't survive practically. Exams are moderate. The pass percentage is 40%. If you read from the previous years' question papers, you will pass.
Other: I opted for this course because of my interest in it. A scholarship facility is available in our college. I got Rs. 5000 each year for 3 years. They won't support students for events. Students must acquire permission from staff members and the principal to conduct events. They should provide more placement opportunities and a new curriculum.

    Dr. Ait doesn't usually place students in good companies. However some companies do visit for call support jobs. The cutoff is different for different companies. Usually it should be above 7.5 cgpa. However, it's really good if your scores are above 8.25 because the aptitude round is then waved off.

    Generally he/she needs to have a 10+2 qualification with the basic requirements that fulfills norms and regulations of DR Ambedkar govt college. The minimum criteria to avail the bsc computer science is overall 50% merit score. Even they provide govt scholarships.
