Placements: The placements are quite good, compared to other colleges in Durgapur (except NIT Durgapur). I won't say everyone gets placed, but about 70-80% of them get placed. The average package range around 5-6 LPA, while the highest go up to 12-15 LPA. The college is overall good and decent.

Placements: About 70% of the students have secured placements in reputed companies like TCS, Infosys, etc. My course is new at the college, so it has not yet had placements, as we are the second batch. However, the minimum package for B.Tech in CSE is 6 LPA; the average is 10 LPA, and the highest is 16 LPA. Sixty percent of the students obtained internships at Accenture, NITs, etc. The top roles offered include data scientist, backend developer, etc.

BCREC is the best College in Durgapur.

Placements: Dr. BC Roy Engineering College provides many internship and pre-placement programs in the 5th semester. Our college has a better placement ratio among all Durgapur colleges. It is a better option to do BTech; in our session, placement provides around 3 to 6 LPA.
