Reality of Fergusson College.
Placements: In our course, placements are not done in Myglamm. Eight students got internships with a 20k salary. Many students were placed in IT companies by just learning one coding language. At that time, IT companies hired at a very large scale. TCS and Wipro recruited 30% of students in our class on a 4 Lakh package. Many students go for competitive exam preparations.
Infrastructure: I talk about reality; the college is famous for girls. There are so many girls in our college. FC Road is popular for couples and friends; there are many cafes and shops that are the main attraction for students. The hostel has all facilities: TV, AC, washing machines, theater, RO, etc. The college canteen is very big. The sports ground on campus is very big, and our hostel has a gym.
Faculty: Faculty members frequently organize many events and get-togethers. Teachers and students are like friends more than teaching; students are interested in extracurricular activities. Most students are addicted to smoking. Exams are difficult, but some questions come from textbooks.
Other: The college is very well-known in Pune.

Helpful staff and good educational surrounding.
Placements: Placement was very disappointing and was not conducted the way it was expected. Those who got a job have individually applied by their own. Internship was compulsory and the department helped in finding the internship as per interest. The internship has helped a little bit in getting the job.
Infrastructure: Being in life science domain, it has got one wet research lab. There are few instruments which are very helpful and practically useful. But there was a shortage of classrooms and staff had to adjust with other departments for conducting lectures. Infrastructure needs to be developed.
Faculty: The faculty is satisfactory. Good thing is that they encourage the students to work. I got special attention while I was working on my project. My project guide helped me for getting a good project. But there is a scope of developing teaching skills and knowledge for the whole staff.
Other: The college is very good and has a really good environment. Big campus. Promotes students for doing extra curricular activities which helps them to develop their confidence as well as skills. Being situated in the middle of the city, it really provides good surrounding and is easy to reach from all over the city.
