Absolutely dissatisfied with placement, infrastructure, facilities of GB Plant Engineering College.

Placements: Placement rate is 1–10 percent. The highest/the lowest/average package: 4 LPA / 2.5 LPA / 3–3.5 LPA (approximately). Top recruiters are mostly mass recruiters (TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, Wipro) and smaller IT/local firms. Internship rate and companies: low, around 10–20 percent. Startups, small local companies, or self-sourced. Top roles: trainee engineer, junior developer, system engineer.

Infrastructure: Old, poorly maintained buildings. We have no Wi-Fi. Labs use outdated PCs, but there are sufficient systems for all students. Teachers don’t come to labs at all, chilling in their rooms while students mark attendance and leave. We do not have hostels; even people from other states live in nearby PG's.

Faculty: Teachers often lack industry skills and use old notes. The curriculum is outdated and not industry-ready. Students self-study. Exams are typical University-level tough, designed to increase re-enrollment (backlogs). The pass percentage is typically 70 percent. Exams are not planned through a calendar but taken whenever.

Cant complain about the college but poor infrastructure and campus life.

Placements: The highest package went about 56 LPA and the lowest was 1.2 LPA average package this year was 7.2 LPA top recruiters were infosys, tcs and maruti 60 percent of students got an internship and 80 percent were placed tol roles were like mostly students were placed as swe - 2 or 3.

Infrastructure: We do have labs classrooms and libraries but classes lack AC and the canteen has been shifted to other campus we have a basketball court and a stage medical facilities are poor sometimes the water is also not clean looks like the building might fall.

Faculty: The teachers are all UPSC qualified they are committed and very helpful and the exams have a fair difficult level so that someone who has studied he or she can pass it easily and the curriculum does prepare you for the industry which I find very helpful in my case.

Other: There are no fests organized, it's well connected the nearest metro is Govindpuri .

Helpful Faculty, Good Placements, Average Infrastructure.

Placements: The college doesn't provide internships directly, but if you're a hardworking student, some teachers may help you. A few run their own companies or can refer you to others. Most students find internships on their own. Overall placement is decent, mainly through referrals, as teachers are supportive in helping students get placed. On-campus placement is limited. One of the top companies that visited was Oracle, where two students were placed with a CTC of ?10 LPA.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi and ACs are not available in classrooms. For semester exams, you can borrow all required books from the library for the entire semester, but they need to be returned after exams. Overall, the infrastructure is just okay? Not too great. Mess food is average, but prices are reasonable. For sports, there's table tennis, a basketball court, and badminton, but no ground for cricket or football. For that, you? Ll need to go to another DSEU campus.

Faculty: Faculty is very good, helpful, and has strong knowledge of their subjects. Most of them are permanent and many are UPSC qualified. They explain concepts well and clear all doubts. The curriculum is well-designed and up to date. Exam papers are of moderate difficult. If you study all important topics and concepts properly, scoring 8?10 CGPA is achievable. I got 8.8 CGPA and my friend scored 9.4.

Other: The alumni network is strong? Most are well-settled in good jobs or running their own startups. Societies are active and create a competitive environment for learning and growth. Large fests don? T happen, but small events are organized by societies. Scholarships are available for SC/ST students, and if someone does? T receive it from the government, the university provides support.
