Review of Gargi College.
Placements: In the Commerce department, the placement opportunities are great. Deloitte, EY, KPMG, & PwC are the main recruiters. The highest package is 25 LPA. The average package offered is 5 LPA, I suppose. Packages offered by KPMG and PwC are up to 4 LPA for audit roles. Moreover, some consulting companies offer great packages. Overall, the Placement Cell is great for the Commerce department.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for the Commerce department is great. Nescafé owned by Satya Bhaiya, is a great place to hang out, and he is a great guy. The canteen is also nice. My favorites are dosa, rajma chawal, & cold coffee. Moreover, we have Mother Dairy on our campus itself. So, I would recommend taking a walnut brownie from Nescafe, telling Satya Bhaiya to warm it, and taking a vanilla scoop from Mother Dairy. Moreover, facilities for sports are also great. We have a tennis court, judo room, yoga room, basketball court, and a very great and well-maintained cricket ground.
Faculty: Faculty and curriculum for Commerce are great. Most questions are asked from PYQs only, so I would recommend doing them. Scoring in internal assessments is very important. Doing projects, presentations, and research papers are great and really transforms the person you are.

Not fully satisfied, but overall I am satisfied.
Placements: The placements are good. Our college placement cell works very hard and has good networking. For my course, top recruiters are Deloitte and KPMG. According to me, the lowest package is 5 LPA. The highest is 23 LPA. Not all students get placed.
Infrastructure: Our college has both old and new buildings. The infrastructure of the new block is very good and has AC. The infrastructure of the old building is not that good. There is also no AC there. The library is very good and has AC. Students study there a lot.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and very knowledgeable. The teaching quality is super hit. Some semester exams are very easy, and some are hard. It totally depends on how a student is studying. If they are studying properly, it will be easy for them to do everything.
Other: The crowd is good. Events are the best.

Good learning environment with scope for improvement.
Placements: Based on what I have heard from seniors, 60 to 70 percent of students get placed in B.Com (Hons). The packages range from 3-4 LPA on the lower end. They go up to 8-10 LPA on the higher end. The average package is 5-6 LPA. Deloitte, EY, KPMG, and some banks recruit from our course for internships. 50 to 60 percent of students get placed. Most of them get placed in finance-related firms. The common roles offered are Financial Analyst, Audit Associate, and other finance and accounting positions.
Infrastructure: The classrooms for B.Com (Hons) are decent. They have proper seating and fans. Wi-Fi is patchy in some areas. Library has a good collection of books. It also has a quiet environment for studying. Computer labs are available. However, the system speed could be better. Gargi is a girls' college. It doesn't have hostel facilities. So, I can't comment on that. Canteen food is average. It is reasonably priced. There is a good variety of snacks. Medical facilities include a basic medical room for emergencies. Sports facilities are decent. There are some indoor games and a ground available.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. Most of them explain concepts clearly. They are approachable if you have doubts outside class. The curriculum covers most of the core commerce subjects well. However, I feel it could include more practical or industry-oriented learning. This could include case studies or live projects. This would make students more industry-ready. Semester exams are moderately difficult. They are not too easy but are manageable if you study regularly. I have heard the pass percentage is generally quite high. I don't have the exact number.

Placements: Placements are okay-ish. They are not anything crazy. Generally, students get 6 to 8 LPA. It is not a lot, and I expected more from Delhi University. However, it also depends on the course. Economics Honors might get slightly higher placements, but generally, they range from 6 to 10 LPA only.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi isn't available. Hostels are not available. The rooms aren't that great either. Only labs have AC. The buildings are old-school. Only the new academic blocks that were created 3 years ago have good seats and smart boards. The benches are okay. They are not broken, but they aren't comfortable either.
Faculty: Teachers are good. They are experienced. The exams are also decent. They are not very difficult, but this, of course, varies from course to course. However, since GE, SEC, and VAC have been added, it is very difficult to manage core subjects and attend these classes.

I am moderately satisfied, but I want better infrastructure. Placements are good.
Placements: I am a second-year student. I heard quite a few seniors getting good placements with major companies like the Big 4. I think majority of students got placements at companies like PwC, JP Morgan, Zomato, and Swiggy. Gargi also provided good internship facilities.
Infrastructure: I felt like our college needed better infrastructure and classrooms, better Wi-Fi, and more labs for practical subjects. Our new academic block was pretty good. It had a few rooms with air conditioning as well. It made it a favourable room for classes during peak summers.
Faculty: Teachers were mostly really helpful. Students could always reach out to them personally in case of any doubts. They appreciated students who took initiative. The curriculum was relevant and important. Most students passed their exams. The papers were at a good level. They were not too easy and were slightly difficult.
Other: I chose this course because it was the best course that DU was offering in alignment with my future goals.

Decent placements and improved infrastructure.
Placements: There are good placements from my course, especially at companies like Deloitte. They offer decent packages of around 8–9 LPA. Overall, it is pretty nice and satisfactory. Other courses also do well in placements.
Infrastructure: Facilities are decent. The New Academic Block is pretty good. The Audit has great labs. The quality of food is also pretty decent and meets expectations, given the reasonable prices in the canteen as well as Nescafé. There is no hostel for the college, though.
Faculty: Most teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. The curriculum is also relevant. The exams have a comparatively easier pattern than in school. However, the exams can be a bit lengthy because the questions are very vast. They are easily done with proper knowledge.

The college has the best faculty, infrastructure, and societies.
Placements: As a student of B.Com. (Hons), I really want to work for companies like the Big 4, such as Deloitte, and many more. They provide placements in our college. Even in my first year, I see a lot of students get placed through my college, so it feels motivating to be in my college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is the best, with aesthetic walls, the Art Squad, a ground, and many more facilities. Games and sports are also available here. Different societies provide you with different experiences and many more opportunities. In short, it has one of the best infrastructures.
Faculty: Faculty of Gargi is very helpful and supportive. They are always there to help you or solve your doubts. They are educated and provide practical knowledge along with theoretical knowledge. If we have to talk about the papers, there is a moderate level of difficulty.
Other: The events, societies, and fests are crazy and very enjoyable.

Best women's college in DU for commerce after LSR.
Placements: Very poor placement opportunities for a Bachelor's degree throughout India, that is also reflected here. Placements through the college are not present, however, you can approach companies with the certificate who have and can get job offers across India, expecting a salary of Rs. 5,000- Rs. 15,000.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is top-notch, considering the infrastructure of KNC and Gargi. Gargi has the best infrastructure, with a lab for Science subjects and a huge library. However, the library space is small, it is always filled with people, and there is a single copy of the book, so students prefer buying them.
Faculty: The course is very rigorous, one of the toughest courses in DU. Very hard syllabus, bulk textbooks, and exams are going to make you insane. The SCGPs you are going to score will be very low compared to students in other courses of universities, if you are looking for a challenging degree, then this is the best.
